Mondo Nougat — Restaurant in Herne Hill

Do beware of this guy (not sure if he is in the owner) in picture!

My friend (bigger sized) asked for a nougat sample, and he provided the sample with a friendly tone while me (smaller sized - typical Asian Looking) who stood beside my friend was treated as INVISIBLE, and he simply walked away while i was trying to eye-contact him for a sample…You would need to HI HI HI him before he would actually give you a nonchalant look?🧐

Be expected to be STARED throughout by him, as you are browsing through the store…oh please, i am not trying to steal the nougats😂

And yes, the nougats are pretty decent and we bought quite a considerable amount ($255 AUD)🙂

The other 2 staff (1 curly-haired older lady and 1 older guy) at the store were VERY FRIENDLY😃 offering us biscuit samples and water asking if everything is ok

You can still consider visiting this store but PLEASE do IGNORE this person in picture or try not to get served by him🧐

p/s to the guy in picture: he can consider working backend in the kitchen/office? if he is not comfortable dealing with people especially when this is a place frequent by tourists?🧐

I visited this stand at the Sydney Royal Easter Show with my kids, who were looking forward to having some snacks at the end of the day. We decided to pick up two packs (around $45) to try them out before possibly buying more on our next visit to the Show within next few days.

Unfortunately, the experience at the register was very disappointing. The staff member serving us was extremely rude and gave off the impression that our presence was bothersome. My friend, who was with me, felt particularly uncomfortable and commented that the staff member's attitude seemed racially biased. She chose not to purchase anything as a result, and honestly, I wouldn’t have either if it weren’t for the kids wanting to try the snacks.

To make matters worse, the snacks themselves were very average and not worth the price we paid. With that kind of customer service and product quality, it’s surprising they’re still in business. I sincerely hope they reconsider how they treat their customers—especially at such a...

After a wine tasting in the Swan Valley today, my wife and brother and sister in law decided to go to Mondos Nougat for nougat sampling and afternoon tea. The genuine Italian hospitality from staff, keen to ensure that we enjoyed their hospitality and wares was exceptional. We had coffees exactly to order and a selection of the amazing pastries from the extensive range on display. The level of service, quality of offerings and very reasonable price on offer at 3:00 pm on a Friday afternoon was exceptional and highly recommended. The offerings of icecream and other drinks were noted along with the extensive range of nougat styles and mixes we have long enjoyed. It is also worth mentioning that the premises were immaculately clean, including toilets / wash rooms with great attention to detail by management.
