Sunny Social — Restaurant in Karrinyup

We really wanted to like Sunny’s. It’s in a great spot and has the potential to be a great local haunt. Unfortunately the food was below average. I ordered the chicken wings - there was not one real wing in it and they came out stone cold as if they’d come out of a refrigerator. We sent them back and got a new basket which had obviously been reheated as the centres were still cold. The celery that came with it was brown and dried out on the ends as if prepped long before service without proper storage. My husband ordered fish and chips - his chips were cold and the fish was extremely oily with too much batter to be enjoyable. It was not busy as we visited midweek for lunch so no real excuse for such poor quality food. Neither of us finished our meals. Safe to say we will not be returning or recommending to other...

A nice new little pub with a good vibe, yummy food, most of the staff seemed friendly.

FAMILY review - I should just point out that I thought the gated grass play area was directly in front of the pub and all the seats but it is not at all. It is to the side and you cannot see the kids unless you’re with them (obviously a necessity). So when I thought we could have a drink and watch them play well actually that meant I had to leave our group and take them to this area and stand around to watch. You also can’t take drinks in with you.

Also the play area was very dirty, lots of like confetti and stuffing and little things that get put into little mouths.

Absolutely rude service by the 2 young brunette girls making coffee on Sunday morning . Went up to order and it seemed like the biggest inconvenience to them. The attitude was unwarranted as I had politely asked them for the order with no other issue .Told it was going to be brought to my table . After waiting 15 minutes went up and was told we usually bring it out but had forgot and had been sitting there getting cold .
