Midnight at the Oasis — Restaurant in Kingaroy

Went to have dinner at the Midnight at the Oasis. The 1st day when we went there we were given no place to sit and were asked to order take away food although we went there around 7pm so we left without ordering anything. Came back the next day again for dinner at around 6:30pm just because of the high ratings, even after coming in so early we were given a place to sit in the outer area. About the food, well, we ordered a soup and it was not even hot, just warm. Steak was also cold. We ordered a medium rare steak and the chef mistakenly made it rare. The order taker didn't know anything about the dishes. I asked few things about some dishes before ordering and she had to go back to the chef to ask and then come back with answers. She even forgot to ask how we would like to have our steak. Terrible place to be honest. The pasta was fine so I'm giving it 2 stars but never...

Went here for Valentines Day. Had been several times before but did not know this place is under new management. What a complete shambles. Waited well over two hours for food to come out. It was the same for all diners. My partner ordered trout which came out cold. Really ordinary. Advertised NZ oysters but none available. It’s a shame because this used to be a very good restaurant. Will not be going back and will tell all to avoid this...

We had a group function in the conservatory area. The lighting was very dim, struggled to see the buffet selection. Not enough serving utensils, had to go ask for more. The sauce/ gravy was very thin. The chicken and beef were ok, the fish was bland. The Entree and dessert 'mirror board' buffet were very good. There was no coffee available. The room was decorated well...
