Absolutely Unacceptable Service – 20+ Minutes for Chips! Reading through past reviews, it’s clear that my experience is just one of many similar complaints. This isn’t a one-time issue—it’s a leadership problem. The culture of any business is set by its leadership (HQ, franchise owner, store/shift managers). If the staff are behaving this way, it’s because they’re allowed to! And it’s driving customers away, which will inevitably impact revenue. At RR Kingaroy, it’s clear the young employees are running the place with zero accountability. Sure, they’re just teenagers earning some cash, which is fine, but when their lack of care ruins the reputation of the business, it becomes a serious issue. We were in town due to the TC, staying at the Motor Inn next door. One of my family members smelled RR and asked for some chips, so I walked over to grab a simple order. There was one local woman ahead of me being served, but she had to step away to get an alternate payment method. I approached the counter, and the young male server told me, *"Won’t be a minute, mate."* No problem—I stepped back and waited. When the woman returned and paid, I walked up again, assuming I’d finally be served. Instead, the same server turned to me and said, "Won’t be a minute, mate, I need to help pack orders." At this point, I turned around to see how many other customers were waiting—only to realize I was the only one waiting to order. Yet, instead of taking my order (which was literally just a box of chips), he left the counter to go work in the back! I stood there watching as he chatted with another employee for 10 minutes packed some drive through orders while I waited. I even took a photo of him standing around. When he finally came back, I told him directly, "Your service is poor, and you can do better." His response? A half-hearted, "Yes, sorry." Then the real RR "efficiency" kicked in—I ended up being the last order fulfilled, all for a simple box of chips. A larger, curly-haired mal employee finally brought out my order, likely knowing by this point that I had been waiting 20 minutes for a single box of chips and had every right to be upset. So I made sure everyone could hear me when I said, *"This is really bad service. Waiting 20 minutes for some chips is ridiculous. You all need to do better." A local customer, who had also been waiting a while had left but came back for something, decided to chime in and tell me to "calm down" and asked why I took pictures. Simple—I took them to send to RR HQ and Craveable Brands so they can see firsthand why RR is struggling in a growing and competitive fast-food market. RR Execs, take note: Your service is tanking, your market share is suffering, and your reputation is going down the drain. If this is the level of service you allow, then don’t be surprised when customers take their money elsewhere.

Overpriced. Long wait time. No roast chicken available at lunch. Soggy bread. Lack of chocken on roll. Inedible. They tried to make me pay twice and when I could prove I already paid she said "my bad" edit: I left a review as the page pastes so the issue could be finalised and then I received the standard copy and paste please review and the link. I've done this... all I can do now is not recommend red rooster kingaroy.

It's been almost 25 minutes and I'm still stuck in this queue. Absolutely ridiculous. Gave up last week after 15 and reversed out. Thought we would try again. Will be the last time. 25 mins for this. What a joke.

I'm Being Generous on this🤯🤯 as we decided too Have A Cooks Night Off 😃😃. It was put in a rather Small useless Paper Bag so it bit the Carpark pavers trying too hang onto it, so already we were Not off to A Great Start.. But Oh dear me when I Say, that it was Thank Goodness for the Coleslaw wence we got home and dished it up , that was very Tasty and A nice amount of dressing.. Dry hard crunchy fried Chicken, it tasted nice with the Gravy, but the Deb Potato that accompanied it was that thick it stuck too the Spoon😳😳, geeze, That's Strike 2 and well there's room for improvement on that stuff...😬😬...But..Now I Don't know if This WAS A JOKE, As Apparently, you Don't tick off the Cook and I sure as Didn't do that, But I Have NEVER EVER had Soooo Much Salt on Chips, too the point that, we just couldn't eat them, What A Waste and My Hub was not impressed 🙄🙄🥴🥴,..Overall, suffice too Say that it was...
