Pulled in today heading back from Albany to Perth. Thought I would try this as last week pulled into Cafe 124 and what a disgrace that place was. I can say my bakery experience was much the same. Bought a Hamburger that must have been in there for 3 days. Bun was hard and just crumbled away when eating it. Burger consisted of a small patty in a large bun with a bit of onion and 1 slice of cheese and some sauce. Absolute worst burger I have consumed. The service was ok, nothing rude by any means but to call this place a "world famous bakery" is a HUGE stretch! The pepper pie didn't even smell of pepper, the cheese and bacon sausage roll contained minimal cheese and bacon & was burnt. The cheese and bacon pie was average at best & they didn't even offer sauce (we felt like it was a hassle to even ask!) - it's far from a good old Aussie country pie. Will never come back again. Very dirty venue. Dirty glass window, dirty tables and chairs, open lid rubbish bin inside the store… they have usual bakery staples but also do basically everything else…which means nothing is good…!
