Went there on a Saturday morning. Considering they only had one other table to serve, you’d expect they’d be grateful for your business. Unfortunately, a very unfriendly environment from the moment we entered. The breakfast menu is 4 items long. How can they call this a cafe? Then when we tried to order an array of sides to make a half-decent meal, we were rudely shut down by the server, saying they couldn’t accommodate our request. No attempt to check with the chef or see what else they could do for us. Just a very abrupt and very rude ‘no’. Again, considering they had no customers, one could have expected at least a little bit of push and shove. Alas, no. Overall, the customer service was subpar. Bad body language, not accomodating, and overall no feeling of connection or care for the customer....

Not sure how the breakdown in communication happened, but it meant we had less than 3 minutes to eat before we had to return to the forum we were attending.
There was only one barista working which meant there was a long wait for coffee. Either they are short staffed or they simply don’t value serving customers in a timely manner. Either way can’t see myself going back, even if I have to attend another event there I think I’ll just take my own...

There was no Unami flavors of hot sweet, salty and sour. Just an overdose of soya sauce. When a dish is in labeled after a certain cuisine, the customer is looking for those flavors. When absent it lets down the dish and the restaurant. Unfortunately there is a good Thai eatery in Morty's that has set the standard of comparison and is far cheaper. Suggest that staff try...
