Taste My Bean Hillcrest — Restaurant in Logan City

I've been a very loyal customer to TMB Hillcrest for confidentially the last 3 years. I've made alot of connections with staff in not only their general service but the way my coffee is made.

Nikita in particular always made me feel welcome and has perfected my particular order for years now.

In the last 2 months I've noticed a massive fluctuation of staff, and with this as we are all aware such is life but unfortunately it has affected my experience and loyalty to TMB. There aren't any friendly faces anymore, the wait time has been absolutely shocking, the quality of service has been poor and the vibes are just not the same anymore.

Its really disappointing to go from something that has been EXTREMELY consistent for a several amount of years to turn to a place i boycot due to unreliable barista's whom don't have the same care as the original staff members.

I really hope to see a change TMB. I miss the way my coffee and service use to be.

Normally I go thru the drive thru but today I walked in. Wow bad mistake, I had my phone to my ear on a work call but before I made my order I told the caller to hold. I made my order, skinny iced mocha jumbo 2 shots. The woman took never repeated the order took my money and walked off. No thank you no nothing (No customer service). Then while I was talking I the phone she looked at me and said "iced wasn't it" I replied yes. Then put up I iced latte, I said is the mine? YES I Then repeat my order, she replied "well it hard to hear you when your on your phone". I ignored the comment. She then put up another iced drink, I had to ask if this was mine coffee because she just left It there. I then stayed to her " if you would of repeat my order and not walked off and ignored a paying customer this would of happen" Then the guy started on me about how I should.t of said this. We recently made our long-overdue first visit to TMB and enjoyed the experience.

We kept it simple, grabbing a jumbo Chai Latte and a jumbo Flat White. Although we didn't regard them as extraordinary, they were still decent quality beverages that we both enjoyed.

We also grabbed a vanilla slice and carrot cake, and they were really good. We tend to eat plenty of sweet treats on our travels, and these were definite winners.

Although we didn't opt for anything else, the sizeable range of food options was appealing and we will head back to try some out.

Last but not least, the service provided was prompt and friendly, even though the place (particularly the drive-thru) was quite busy at the time. My wife even commented on the speed of our order, so thumbs up there.
