What an absolute gem, I may be a tad bias as I'm a sucker for any historical building but hands down this place has the most cozy and welcoming atmosphere.
The decor has such a homey feel, with miss matched antique furniture, the blues music with even some Aussie artists playing, the art work that has some available for sale and just the parts of the building kept original make for such a warm place to sit down and enjoy some drinks and food with friends or family.
The food was delicious, comforting and very filling. The steak with their Jägermeister honey and mustard sauce was a perfect combination. The Mustard seed bread was a wonderful mix of cheesy and the slightly sweet tang of mustard, was a fantastic starter before our mains. And then the chicken burger, it surprisingly had a bit of a hot kick to both the spices in the chicken batter, which the meat was so lovingly cooked where is just pulled apart so easily, and the sauce, all together it was a wonderful meal to have for lunch.

Didn't proceed to order dessert as again prices were high and no one ever came to take our order. Unfortunately, we won't...

Great beer and food at good prices, with an excellent outdoor space that has a number of music spaces hosting local festivals and bands. The bar is split into two, with one side leaning towards a gastropub and the other a more intimate space for music and drinking, decorated in music posters. The staff are friendly and genuine and the whole place has the atmosphere of community. This pub truly feels like a lived in, local place, but dont let that make you feel unwelcome as you most...
