Malabar Cafe — Restaurant in Maddington

I ordered the chicken biryani, beef fry, and a few snacks from here, and everything was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich, the portions were generous, and the food tasted fresh and authentic. The staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.

I’ll admit, I had placed my order before seeing the negative reviews online, but after trying the food myself, I can honestly say those reviews couldn’t be further from the truth. I didn’t face any issues with quality or quantity—in fact, I was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was.

This has definitely become one of my new go-to spots, and I’ll be coming back again for sure! Highly recommend...

Absolute nightmare. Absolute shame. Wasted 1 hour, and a 30 min drive. Chaos. Ordered 3 biriyani, received only one, cold in the centre, probably came straight out of the fridge. Rest of the biriyani was never given. Biriyani tasted like tomato rice. Porotta served with no plates, had to wait 10 min for the plates, also tasted bitter, might be the flour, who knows. Sat there for 1 hour patiently and then left. These so called promoters on instagram, should stop spreading lies. Great initiative but you are losing customers, I am never coming back till you fix the bad service and bad...

Went to this restaurant after seeing a reel in Instagram. Wanted to try proper Kerala food as there are very very few restaurants promoting Kerala food. Me and my wife drove 30 mins to try their food and we were so hungry after work. We patiently waited for more than 45 mins and the guy at the counter comes by asking what my order was and then said the items ordered are all over. This is a first that I have experienced here in Perth and not at all happy. Please make sure you ask the guy after ordering how much time it will take and keep reminding him...
