Dropped in today at lunchtime, 26/2/2020 after travelling from Kadina with my 'ol course mate from 2/83, Chappy Chapman from the Sunshine State. Grabbed a pie, pasty and a softie and then headed off to Balgowen to eat, drink and enjoy the sea view from his sisters deck at her shack (palatial palace!!). Really nice country tucker at a standard price. They, like the Minlaton Bakery, don't do the sauce bottle jab and profer the packet. Environmentally unfriendly so I wonder weather the SA Health inspector had paid a visit to them as well. Love that each table has free flower and plant adorn the window.. the salt and pepper shakers are different on every table. The coffee is great and the food is tasty and fresh.
