Always good to come home from working away for weeks on end to the good old yourk valley hotel for a good mouth watering feed most people on yourks know this is the place to be so for all you that are traveling down yourks way come stop in here you will not be disappointed rhis is the best pub on the yourks friendly staff great prices they really make you feel at home here and become a member with there great raffles

I was there with a reasonable size group and most were satisfied with their meals. Two people had problems one had a steak undercooked it was rare rather than medium and when complained the staff member that took his order said he was wrong. The other did not get his meal at all but was told it did come out

Highly recommend this Hotel. Staff friendly food fantastic.Had a salard bar which was great better than a bowl of lettuce tomatoes onion.I had a parm beef snitty which couldn't finish partner had seafood platter .If up that way call in.

New to the area decided to call in for lunch, got there 30mins before lunch started at 12 noon so we ordered a drink and took a seat in the restaurant and waited. 15mins later we noticed people where been served food so we guessed the kitcken opened early, that's good so we went to order, we ordered a chicken burger but was told that we can't eat it in the restaurant, puzzled by this I asked, so I can order food from the restaurant but I can't eat it in here?, the lady replied yes that's correct you have to eat it at the front bar. Why can't I eat food I buy from the restaurant in the restaurant? Because of this you lost a sale and future sales. Very poor customer service at the restaurant, bar staff seemed nice...

I've never once in my life experienced such a terrible service in a restaurant. We were just came and I asked politely to the lady in the register if we can sit in the outdoor area. The lady said " it's fine, but you have to be mindful with the other guest! " . I was so shocked. How come a waiter would say such rude judgement words towards their customer? Honestly, if she tried to tell me about good manner, she just have to get a big mirror and look at herself. Are you mindful enough about your words towards your customer? It's just unbelievably shocking how that words can came out of her mouth. Such an unpleasant experience, horrible horrible...

Generous, top quality portions for the price. Easily one of the best counter meals I’ve had in my life, enough to keep me coming back time and again. 😊

My one gripe is desserts aren’t available for takeaway; were this not the case, this review would be 5 stars. A shame, as I’d really like to try their sticky date pudding, especially if it’s as good as their chicken schnitzel packs. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Speaking of which, the Chicken Schnitzel Yorke Valley is my favourite by far: a huge 100% chicken breast, perfectly crumbed and topped with garlic cream sauce and plump, juicy prawns. If I were to recommend any dish, it’s this one...
