Unsatisfied. Went to this shop 3 times. The foods are good and it has nice decorations. However, I'm not happy with the customer service. The first two times I went to buy Vietnamese rolls, nothing happened. But the 3rd time, I want to try something different, so I spent some time at the counter to ask more about other foods. The staff was nice and friendly, yet there's a lady looked like business owner, she's unhappy about me and asked :"What? What do you wanna ask?" with an angry attitude while I've been served by the staff. There was no one else waiting at the counter and I just spent less than 5 minutes there. I didn't know why she had that attitude. I was so disppointed, cuz I had intention to be a regular customer of the shop, but I think I never come back again. I listened to the whole sentence. But "darling" in English is not exactly the same meaning in Vietnamese and the way you asked made me upset, not only the content. Btw, what do you mean "dirty look"?. I don't think I have that look with anybody, especially with a lady older than me. I think you conscious your unhappy attitude. I bought from so many shop and I believe I didn't judge the people wrong cuz in other shops they have fantastic customer service. Sorry if I misunderstood your good thinking helping me out. And please don't mention Vietnamese people or not, I appreciate, admire, and want to support Viet business, I even recommend my friends to come, I told them your food is really good. If that attitude belonged to a staff, I could understand, but it's from a business owner, I think I and you have different mindset. Thank you. Sorry if I misunderstood you. I think your staff did the good job, without you saying something I almost order some more stuffs....
Read moreThey say if you want to know the truth about a business then ask a regular. I am a regular at AusVi Bakery and I'm happy to say it meets all of my expectations. This is a small, friendly, family 'bakery, coffee shop and sandwich bar' combination. I am a regular because the food is always fresh and tasty. Cakes, pastries, bread, buns, pies, pasties and sausage rolls are all made in-house to a very high standard. Prices are reasonable and competitive with similar businesses. I have never had reason to complain about the quality of any of the food I have purchased and over the years I have tried almost everything in the store. It is not the Ritz it is a community food business and I believe it excels at its market. The staff are polite and always willing to do their best to assist regardless of your order. I congratulate Mary "the owner" and would have no problems recommending this business to any customer. Final...
Read moreI visited here with my Mother and ordered two bahn mi's one with the lot and one with the lot (no chilli) with an additional vanilla slice. When my buzzer flashed to collect my order. I asked the staff member which one is with the chilli and she seemed annoyed and said "yes it has chilli". I told her "which one has the chilli please?" as there was no label or visible chilli. She just rolled her eyes and repeated "it has chilli!" When I got to my table there was no chilli or Corriander in either. I was a bit taken off guard with the rude staff member and my order was incorrect, I then had to line up again as the rude staff member did not give me my vanilla slice. No apology. The rude experience really tainted the time in the Cafe. The bahn mi lacked flavour. The vanilla slice was delicious but not worth returning for poor customer service.Shame as this Cafe came highly...
