I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible dining experience I recently had at your establishment. From the moment I walked through the door, I was warmly greeted by your friendly staff, who made me feel right at home.

The menu at Bagel & Co/Lauree Dees is truly something to behold. The fusion of halal bagels and burgers is a stroke of genius, and I was eager to see how these two culinary worlds would collide. Let me just say, I was not disappointed. The halal bagels were freshly baked and had that perfect chewiness that I crave, while the burgers were cooked to perfection - juicy, flavorful, and simply mouthwatering.

I was also impressed by the variety of options available on the menu. As someone with dietary restrictions, it can often be challenging to find a restaurant that caters to my needs. However, at Bagel & Co/Lauree Dees, I was delighted to find a wide range of halal choices that accommodated my preferences. It's clear that the team behind the scenes has put a lot of thought and effort into crafting a menu that caters to all tastes and preferences.

The service I received during my visit was exceptional. The waitstaff was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Their enthusiasm and passion for the halal food they serve was evident, and it made my visit all the more enjoyable.

Lastly, I must mention the cozy ambiance of the restaurant. The warm lighting, comfortable seating, and charming decor all contributed to creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. It was the perfect setting to enjoy a halal meal and share good times with friends or loved ones.

WOW! I ordered from here on Uber eats and quite honestly I’ve never even left a review online before but this one really was that exceptional that I just had to leave a review. I wrote in my notes “I’m deathly hungover, please make with love 😭😂” because you know there’s nothing worse than receiving an order and being disappointed let alone when hungover ..

I received the bag and it had a very sweet message on it with some words of affirmation which already launched me into another realm of happiness BUT I wasn’t prepared for what came next. I was given a bagel made to perfection, delicious halloumi with the perfect amount of sauce to match and a hash brown that was so crispy! THENNNN I was given a donut for free (pls don’t let anyone get in trouble for this) that also had a sweet note written on it and a little lollipop. It’s things like this that make me totally remember there are great humans and you e honestly just made my week with such a kind gesture.

I work in a kitchen myself and I know it can be stresssful especially on a Sunday ?!? So the fact you found the time to do that really really meant a lot! So to whoever is working on a Sunday I hope that every single one of your dreams come true and you have the best week even life ?! Never stop doing the kind things because it reflects what an incredible person you are!!!!!

🧀 Halloumi 🍳 B & E 🐓 Crumbed Chicken

Bagels and Co is a new bagel cafe located on Sydney Road in Brunswick. They have 5 bagel options (including gluten free!) as well as 9 sandwich combinations with the option to add crisps and pickles on the side. The bagels are traditionally boiled and baked for that perfectly dense and chewy bite. 🥯

We tried 3 of their bagels, our favourite being the simple B&E with double fried egg, triple rasher bacon, caramelised onion, kewpie Mayo and tomato relish. It was well balanced and moreish, I highly recommend adding chilli if you like a kick! 🌶

Love that the Crumbed Chicken was panko crumbed, however it was quite bland overall with most of the flavour coming from the sweet chilli sauce. The Halloumi was nice enough, fresh and simple but dry. 🧀

Staff are kind and the coffee here is fantastic. With so many bagel cafes now opening up, especially in the area there is a lot to compare to. I felt the options here were more on the basic side, I would love to see some creative options with more unique...
