Bella Vista Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

I went to purchase a small almond latte and saw a board advertising a egg and bacon roll and coffee deal for $10.50 (with a small coffee). I decided to purchase the special. The server at the counter asked whether I would like cheese and sauce on the roll for extra, which I said yes. When I went to pay for the items she charged me $14.70. When I questioned her why I was been charged an additional $4.20 her response was it's an extra $.50 for the cheese and sauce plus extra for the almond milk. Even if that is the case it still doesn't not mount to an additional $4.20. Despite this the coffee was warm and lacked any coffee. It tasted like burnt milk. The sauce was forgotten in the roll and only had 1 slice of bacon. Personally will not waste my money here again would rather go out of my way to another estate. McDonalds cafe even do a better job than this. Disappointing and not...

We go here regularly to grab coffee/hot chocolate's during the week while my husband and I are working from home. There's one girl during the week who makes the best coffees, he's always happy when she makes his coffee.

We stopped in for lunch Friday and the food overall was just okay. I had the chicken burger which was a decent sized serve with two pieces of chicken and a side of chips as well. It was quite filling, but it was lacking something to make it really good, whether that would be more sauce or cheese I'm not sure.

My husband had the brisket Benny, which he said was alright but not his favourite.

I’m fortunate enough to live within walking distance from Bella Vista Cafe. I’m now a regular and bring my family and friends here as often as possible. The staff are always welcoming and attentive. The food is fantastic, always hot and fresh, and a little different to other cafes around. The Steak sandwich is both my and my teenage son’s favourite. I’ve eaten my way through the menu and everything is delicious. The coffee is absolutely delicious and I love it. Not the cheapest place around, but excellent value for money.
