Viva Kebabs and Grill l Melbourne — Restaurant in Melbourne

After reading promising reviews, we made a 20-minute drive to try the meal. However, our high expectations were dashed as we found it to be incredibly disappointing.

This was easily the worst HSP (Halal Snack Pack) experience I’ve ever had. The portion lacked sauce to the extent that we had to supplement it ourselves, and to top it off, there was an excessive puddle of oil at the bottom. It was like eating oily meat with soggy chips dry with absolutely no flavour.

This experience left us thoroughly dissatisfied, and we won’t be returning. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Truly let down by the experience.

We live in Sydenham, when I mentioned a 20-minute drive, I meant it as a round trip.

We traveled to Broadmeadows, 20 minutes away one way, for an HSP. Never before have we encountered such broken down sauces or excessive oil pooling at the bottom of the container. The disappointing reality was the scant sauce and surplus oil. The photo unmistakably shows the absence of sauce along the sides and the noticeable pooling of oil.

Waited a long time for this business to open, even after reading other reviews, thought of giving this new small local business a go, very disappointed, food is very average for not so average money, biggest annoyance is the time having to wait to order and then get my order, waited in line for half an hour to order and then a whole hour to receive my order...you need to understand that some of come home from a day at work and would like to have dinner, not go back to the cave man days of spending time wasting time hunting for something to cook for dinner. Sorry guys, you lost me for good, in the time waiting to order and receive my order, I could have driven into Melbourne city centre and got what you serve, a whole lot quicker and possibly better. You open a business expecting support....don’t you, you get only to disappoint in the biggest possible way....read the reviews, you do not have to believe me. Avoid at all cost, the poor reviews really show the level of service and the quality of food in such a short period of time. Residents of Fraser Rise, support a business that cares, there are a few Kebab places in Taylors Hill and Caroline Springs, stick to them, nothing special here, not even worth...

Bought two shish boxes with a mix of a few things (custom order). The chips were good, I love crunchy buttery chips! The adana shish were very nice, the salad and the dips were great. The lamb spit meat was alright, I personally like my lamb off the spit very well done, and this wasn't but it's not bad. I'm sure you could ask for more charred lamb off the spit if that's your style (I will next time). We ordered and went for a short walk around the block, by the time we were back (about 10 mins), the food was all ready to pick up. I only read the other comments on these guys before I posted this comment myself. I know these guys are still getting their business and processes up to streamline their service, so all I can say is that they seem to be taking on the feedback and improving as we received a great service and good food. Keep up the good customer service guys and keep taking on the feedback to keep improving. I'm giving you 5 stars for your efforts and the service. Looking forward...
