However, my anticipation swiftly turned to ire as the hours ticked by without a sign of my meal. To my dismay, it became apparent that the restaurant in question had ceased operations promptly at 9 PM, contradicting the assurances provided by UberEats.
This egregious discrepancy raises troubling questions regarding the integrity of both the platform and the participating establishment. Was this a calculated misrepresentation by UberEats, luring unsuspecting patrons with false promises of late-night service? Or did the restaurant knowingly accept orders beyond their operational capacity, exploiting the trust of customers for financial gain?

Not only am I left empty-handed and unsatisfied, but I am also burdened with the inconvenience of a prolonged refund process, with funds withheld for up to ten days.

Read moreI am sick to my stomach. We just ordered two pizzas and after almost finishing the garlic pizza, I accidentally dropped a piece which landed upside down on my plate. To my HORROR I saw it had mould on the base. We checked the remaining slices of garlic pizza and found four more spots of mould, so we turned the other pizza upside down in the box and found SIX large, black spots of mould! I feel like vomiting, I have a phobia of mould and quite frankly, even if I didn't I would be equally as horrified that I have just eaten God knows how much BLACK MOULD. All of us here are recovering from covid and I'm terrified this is going to make us sick all over again. I have called the restaurant several times but they're not picking up. How then did my order get confirmed at 10:15pm? Money taken for the order will now take up to 10 days to be refunded.
