I recently visited your Subway location on Stud Road, Dandenong, next to Liberty Petrol Station. I was planning to hold a team meeting there and arrived early to grab a meal. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the customer service I received.
I ordered a multigrain half sub, and as the staff member was cutting it, I politely reminded her that it was a half. Her response was rude and dismissive, saying, "Yeah, yeah, I know, I know," in an unprofessional tone. Shortly after, I received a call from a colleague, and when I apologized to her for the brief interruption, she ignored me and gave me an angry look.
The restaurant was quiet, and I was the only customer at the time, so I was surprised by this behavior. She also did not inform me of the total amount before payment, nor did she thank me after I paid. Instead, I received yet another unfriendly look. While the food was good, the poor customer service left a lasting negative impression.
As a result, I immediately called my team and canceled our meeting at this location. We chose to dine at a different restaurant instead. This means Subway lost seven potential customers that day.
I do not expect anything in return, but I strongly urge you to train your staff on proper customer service. No matter how good the food is, poor service will drive customers away. Unfortunately, due to this experience, I will not be visiting this...
Read moreMy meal was delivered to my via Uber eats so I was actually in the store to rectify this situation. First kt all I had ordered a Vanilla no sugar coke. I received a coke no sugar. To me that was the least of my worries but still would have been nice to have been notified otherwise I’d like to refund the drink instead. ( or even better take it off the menu on Uber eats so people don’t order it ) The subway however… I’d ordered a LARGE wrap. Had paid EXTRA for it. The wrap was a standard size almost the size of a McDonald’s snack wrap… pretty pathetic. I get my refund back from Uber eats and begin to eat it. Then… I get about half way and realise there is NO CHICKEN inside the supposed ‘chicken classic Wrap’. How do you not put chicken in a wrap, sorry, how do you not put meat in a SUBWAY?!?!?! How do you forget the main Ingredient? The meal is called a chicken classic! I understand if they had run out do you shouldn’t have accepted my order through Uber. Unacceptable. Do not order from here unless you want to pay extra for a standard meal or to pay for a sub without meat. I also rang this subway to try to understand why there was no meat. I’d been ringing for 5 minutes and no one picked up. Pretty disgraceful...
Read moreI want to sincerely thank the team at the Subway located inside the petrol station — they are some of the kindest and most genuine people I’ve ever met in customer service. Every time I visit, they greet me with a smile and treat me with true respect.
What I really appreciate is that when I ask for a little extra of certain veggies, they always do it happily — without asking any questions, without any judgment, and without making me feel uncomfortable. Whether it’s a bit more capsicum, cucumber, or spinach, they never hesitate and always show generosity.
It’s not just about the food — it’s about the way they make customers feel welcome, valued, and respected. That kind of attitude is rare these days, and it deserves to be recognised.
