I recently had the pleasure of visiting Blitz Bar, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish! As the first self-serve açai place in Melbourne, they truly set the bar high with their incredible açai bowls and smoothies. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by their warm and friendly staff, who were always willing to help and guide me through their delicious offerings. The ambiance was inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a healthy treat. Now, let's talk about the food! Their açai bowls are simply heavenly. Bursting with fresh flavors and a perfect balance of toppings, each spoonful was a delightful journey for my taste buds. I especially fell in love with their "Barbie Smoothie" – it was like sipping on pure bliss in a cup! The combination of flavors was unique and refreshing, leaving me craving more. I have tried several açai places around Melbourne, but Blitz Bar stands out as the best. The quality, taste, and variety they offer are unparalleled. Hi Blitz Bar, I order from you guys quite a lot (a couple of times a week) and when you get it right, it’s my favourite açai bowl in Melbourne. But the last two Uber Eats orders you have sent me the açai has tasted really off, somethings not right (stale), I have had to bin it both times. You’ve removed the phone number so I can’t call you so I’m letting you know here. At other times the açai taste good but you send me strawberries that are off or banana that’s mooshy. I tolerate the off fruit from time to time because I like the açai, but now the açai is tasting off I’m wasting a lot of money ordering.

Very disappointed with the place after seeing it in the Urban List and decided to give it a try. When I asked the staff what was the deal about the açai she gave me the look as if it was so obvious (there’s a lack of signage or communication) you don’t want to go to a place and made feel stupid. The self serve açai machine was filthy, the topping section…. Speechless, if you have 5 staff on floor they should be able to have the section impecable.
