Take away schnitzels rolls easily the best in Melbourne (Schnitzel, jarlsburg, rocket & mayo on ciabatta). Cannolis were amazing too definitely worth a visit! Or a decent drive for a lunch stop.

Have to drop a point for their COVID steps, staff were lovely but not actually wearing their masks properly (under nose or chin).Hospitality couldn’t stop complaining or crying victim about the lockdown & now they could conceivably be the root cause of any other breakout if they don’t follow & help implement simple health department instructions. A couple who dined in the restaurant, got up and ordered take away coffees. No masks anywhere in sight, no social distancing, essentially acting like their was no epidemic. In my opinion SI should mention it to them to make others feel more comfortable. Hospitality venues have a responsibility to ensure the safety of all their other patrons & the...

Real score 3.7.

The cafe looks pretty good. It’s presented in a good modern style. The coffee here was unexpectedly exceptional. Dark, rich and luscious. It’s just as you’d want a strong coffee to be. It was delicious. And, surprisingly, it was better coffee than that of its feted nearby neighbour a bit down the road, Down the Rabbit Hole. The menu looked good here as well. Someone’s good on descriptions. I started salivating on reading a couple of things listed on the menu. The table water wasn’t cold though. A small thing, granted, but one that matters to me. Chilling table water shows care and class I reckon. And it was beautifully chilled at the Rabbit place. Service was speedy, efficient and very polite at Si. It seemed like a really good place and well worth a...

This coffee shop /restaurant is in a neighbourhood open-air shopping village. Lots of other coffee shops & restaurants nearby to explore. Parking is limited & it can be hard to find during "meal time" rush hours. But the north facing outdoor sitting area is lovely all year round. The owner works behind the register & is very pleasant & friendly. I must mention that last time I was there wth my brother we were slightly short of cash but he served us anyway. Wth a big smile. This is rare. I went back to pay our debt a few days later but he refused to take the money. This is even rarer. Pls support this friendly & caring man if you're in the area. I gave a 4 🌟 cos of the...

Came here on cup holiday with the family and the place was reasonably quiet. The kitchen was closing at 2 on so we quickly ordered or meals. The meals came out quick and were tasty. Orange juice was freshly squeezed. Prices were average i.e not cheap and not overpriced. Our 3 Orange juices, French toast, spanikopita (no salad or extras) and Reuben sandwich came to $60.

Friendly little place. The food was tasty and the serving size was generous at reasonable prices. However the tables were not clean and the toilet was messy. The lighting could be brighter. The menu sheets could be better presented on good quality paper or laminated rather than crumply soft paper which looked rather unprofessional in my opinion.
