Food was meh here, service was real crap. Atmosphere was on point, typical hk environment. Credits where it is due. However! They were missing a lobster noodle portion, paid per head and when questioned where is the last one, older Waiter says "I don't know" and walks off. Seriously? 2022 what kind of crap is this service.. After different waiters come, we ask about the missing lobster noodle (paid per head by the way), every Waiter literally points at another Waiter and says ask him (points), to which asked again, replies (I don't know either). How about, 'let me find out what went wrong?', nope, everyone just ignored the problem. In the end I settled for just a bowl of lobster noodles without the lobster. I'd given up on the lobster, I don't expect them to cut off a fresh lobster just for me. But I still want my noodles at least God dam. Finally it came after like, 10 dishes. Service is probably a - 3/5. The black pepper beef was bloody chewy. 1/5 Duck was good and the crepe with it. 4/5 Other than that, nothing else to say. Come here for the duck, and I tell u, only the duck, crepe, then get out of there. This is my experience here. I would not return personally given all of the above.

Not ‘yummy duck’ is more appropriate. Very disappointing considering this is the speciality & the name of the restaurant. The menu item is listed as Peking duck, half ($35) or full duck however, it’s not, it’s pieces of duck & it was pre-prepared, wrapped in the pancake with spring onion & cucumber. The duck was flavourless, stringy & definitely not freshly cooked, I couldn’t taste the sauce. I ordered to take away & of course it was all soggy by the time I picked it up & drove home (12 minutes). Not sure if this is how it’s served in the restaurant. Fried rice was average. Other restaurants with takeaway, package each item separately, & you get half a duck, chopped & it’s fresh. For a total of $50 it was very average. I won’t be going back. Woolworths Peking Duck -2 serves $10 ‘reduced’. I think it will be better.

The name says it all, but maybe it should have "Exceptionally" in front of it. The Peking Duck is superb. I've been to Beijing (Peking) a couple of times and tried the same dish there multiple times and dare I say here is better. The secret is with master chef Wah Gaw who brought his magic from arguably the CBD's best Peking Duck restaurant to the lucky people of Templestowe. Is the secret in the in-house Hoisin sauce, the Duck (not too fatty and fine of flavour), the amazing extra crispy skin pieces or the delicate see-through wrapper? Who knows for sure, but add the fine slices of Leek and Cucumber, wrap it up any way you like and delight in the amazing flavours as they come together with every bite. Lucky Templestowe. Sorry CBD.

If you're on the hunt for an authentic Chinese dining experience with a touch of culinary magic, look no further than this gem nestled in Templestowe, Melbourne. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality that sets the tone for an unforgettable meal.

Let's talk about the star of the show: their Peking Duck. Each bite is a symphony of flavors and textures, perfectly crispy skin giving way to succulent, tender meat that practically melts in your mouth. The presentation alone is a feast for the eyes, with skilled chefs carving the duck tableside, adding an element of theater to the dining experience.

But the excellence doesn't stop there. Every dish we tried was a testament to the chef's mastery of traditional Chinese cooking techniques. From delicate dim sum to hearty noodle dishes, each plate was bursting with freshness and flavor, leaving us craving more.

The ambiance of the restaurant is also worth mentioning. With its elegant decor and subtle nods to Chinese culture, dining here feels like a special occasion every time. Whether you're celebrating with loved ones or simply treating yourself to a night out, this restaurant provides the perfect backdrop for any occasion.

And let's not forget about the impeccable service. Attentive without being intrusive, the staff here go above and beyond to ensure that every diner feels welcomed and cared for.

In summary, if you're a fan of authentic Chinese cuisine, particularly Peking Duck, this restaurant in Templestowe is an absolute must-visit. Prepare to indulge your senses and embark on a culinary journey that you won't...
