What a disgrace and massive disappointment, I came here in April 2018 with my wife and family where we enjoyed our meals and service enough to invite our close friends out for a meal here ensuring them that the hour long drive would be worth it. We arrived on time and were showed to our seats. At the table (booking made for seven guests) are four glasses that you would be embarrassed to use at you own home let alone a restaurant. All filled with random amounts of water (are they leftover from the previous customers..... not sure) So we sit and wait for our orders to be taken, (this is where it goes to S4!+) The Owner "Trevor" asks us "are you ready?" Our guests begin to place their order starting with the mains adding to with a side of gravy (which im afraid was like asking for his kidneys) at this point we can see clearly that technology is just to much for him as he battles to modify the order like he was playing a game of Tetris on his PDA. After placing the mains order our guests realised that they also wanted a garlic bread for entrée, well... that was the straw that broke the camel's back. After Trevor had a mental melt down and a little walk around the restuant to gather himself he returns where he rudely and in a belittling tone explains to us simpletons we need to order all entrees followed by our mains. We comply and he disappears without taking any drink orders. So after waiting for 10 minutes I decide to approach the bar where I'm told they will come to the table for drink orders. I return to the table and back comes Trevor to take drink orders, a simple order of soda lime and bitters a corona a lemon lime and bitters and an Asahi takes close to 5min as we watch again a medalie of facial expressions while he fumbles his way around the Tablet. Finally out come our meals only to be missing the gravy that was clearly part of the original order. At this point my wife and I are very embarrassed for recommending this place. I decide to mention the frustration after paying the bill. I begin by saying once again the food was nice but then tell Trevor because of his poor customer service our friends would never return to which he replied "And I wouldn't care" and we leave.

I feel sorry for the rest of the staff here as they seemed to be picking up the short comings...

I had the pleasure of dining at Dine Divine last night, and I’m still thinking about the incredible experience! I had the Duck Leg Salad, which was a special that night, and just the thought of it makes my mouth water. I’ve been a regular at this restaurant for years, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal. But last night’s duck salad? It was a melt-in-your-mouth masterpiece. The salad was perfectly complemented by a cabbage base that was so delicious, I couldn't get enough.

What really stands out about Dine Divine is the exceptional value. The meals are absolutely 5-star quality, but the prices are surprisingly reasonable — you’re truly getting a Michelin-level experience without the hefty price tag. The staff here are attentive and efficient, constantly checking in, refilling water glasses, clearing plates, and ensuring everything is perfect. Despite the restaurant being nearly full, the atmosphere remained calm and peaceful, allowing us to enjoy a quiet conversation throughout the evening.

The menu is packed with mouthwatering options, from pork and duck to beef, chicken, and fish. If you’ve never tried the Barramundi, you absolutely must. I’m not usually a fan of fish, but this dish was a revelation — juicy, tender, and unlike any fish I’ve ever tasted.

Dine Divine isn’t just a restaurant, it’s an experience. Whether you're dining for a casual meal or looking for a stunning function venue, this place hits the mark every time. Their Devonshire Teas and High Teas are in a league of their own — better than anything you’ll find at high-end restaurants in the city. I can’t...

My partner and I have been living in Ferny Creek for just over 3 years and finally made it into Dine Divine tonight for dinner with my mother in law. Boy are we glad we did!! This was the best dining experience we’ve had in such a long time. My partner and I had the barramundi and his Mum had the pasta (which I had the privilege of trying) and both meals were so so delicious and cooked to perfection, the perfect blend of flavours and textures in both meals. We had the apple and apricot crumble and the sticky date pudding for dessert and both desserts were so delicious. We were given some complimentary little home made slices with home made jam in them aswell after dinner which was such a nice little touch to our experience. But above all, the service was such a sigh of relief! We were welcomed and seated promptly with a smile, our waitress was so wonderful with such a lovely and calming presence, but also with a sense of humor- the perfect balance of service for the venue. The music was lovely, the perfect volume and not intrusive. Overall the atmosphere was nice. If I really had to nitpick, I would only say that the place could do with a little facelift- the green wall painted the same colour as the rest of the walls and some different artwork and light fixings. But this certainly didn’t affect our experience at all and we will most certainly be back many more times to come. Thank you for such a wonderful experience so close to home, we’re so glad we’ve...

Experience a touch of heaven in a church. The dinner service was divine, the ambience reflective, calm, and warm. The food was well presented, delicate, and absolutely delicious. We dined on a shared entree of scallops ,melt in the mouth, and soft pillows with delicate smoke charcoal bacon pieces. Generous serve from the chef. Mains, crispy barramundi skin, and a well cooked flesh surrounded by fresh vegetables, the other main was the lamb, soft well cooked tender lamb in a puddle of jous filled with flavour and spices. Again, very generous serves. Finish off with another generous serve of sticky date pudding and ice cream to share. The service from the waitress was exceptional, and the food was fantastic. You are certainly dining divine. A good wine, cocktail and beer list also.

We had a fantastic meal at Dine Divine! The beautifully restored 1902 church created such a warm and elegant atmosphere. We ordered the croquettes, the fettuccine, the beef pot pie, and the soup of the day — carrot and coriander — and everything was fresh and delicious. You can really taste the quality of the locally sourced ingredients. The croquettes were crispy and full of flavor, the beef pot pie was hearty and comforting, and the soup was beautifully balanced. The fettuccine had a unique, slightly spicy sauce that made it stand out in the best way. We finished with a rich, moist gluten-free chocolate cake — the perfect sweet ending. Friendly and attentive service made the experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re visiting the Dandenong Ranges!

I am blown away by this restaurant, absolutely delicious food! This converted church had so much character & feels warm and cosy inside. Very friendly service by the staff. We started with the saganaki which was so soft and had a yum fig jam on the side. For mains I got the home made pasta & my husband got the lamb. The pasta was incredible and full of flavour and my husband loved the lamb, plus the portion sizes and big. Usually when portion sizes are big the quality slips, but this was not the case at all. We finished up with scones and raspberry jam with cream and sticky date pudding which was soooo yummy. I can’t wait to visit here again, it’s a hidden gem and the food was perfection. Will be recommending to everyone I know!
