DoppioZero Pizzeria & Wine Bar — Restaurant in Melbourne

Had a family dinner night for a birthday. All the meals except for one came out. After about 15 minutes we enquired and were told that it was never put on the order to the kitchen. It took about another 10 minutes to get the meal and by that time, everyone else had finished. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the food is of high quality.

We were then offered a dessert menu which never came and we had to go up and ask for it (it was the same waitress that took the dinner order). The same waitress had come over to check if everything was okay during dinner (we had already told another one about the missing meal), and we told her that one meal hadn't come out. Her reply was "okay, perfect" and then she walked off to another table (ie. Didn't go and check to see what was happening. I presume she hadn't been told that it was missed when she put the order through).

It's slightly more expensive than your typical restaurant (Parma was $32, Calamari was $34 and the pizza's ranged from about $28 to $36ish approx).

Overall, it was a nice meal in a nice environment but let down by poor customer service. I had finished my drink (just a softdrink) by the time my meal came out. I would have been happy with an apology from the waitress and a complimentary drink to make up for the inconvenience of having to wait and then sit there and eat my meal after everyone...

My wife & I had travelled from Interstate to Victoria to catch up with family members & were staying at the Melaleuca Lodge for 3 nights 🌙

It was recommended that we give the DoppioZero Pizzeria & Wine Bar a go as it has great food & wonderful reviews 👌

We were more than impressed with the cleanliness of this establishment, the Customer Service from the getgo & the food that we had on our 2 visits to this restaurant was superb 👌

We were particularly pleased with the quality of service provided, the staff were more than welcoming & went out their way to ensure everything was done to make our time there very enjoyable 🙏

I found the ambience of this restaurant to be very comfortable with a great bar & a fantastic range of wines 🍸 & beers 🍻 to suit your tastes.

To make it a more convenient place, in the cooler months, there is a fireplace 🔥 that makes it a perfect place to more 😉

I have already passed on to family members to make the time to visit DoppioZero Pizzeria & Wine Bar 🍷 🍸 to enjoy a drink or some authentic...

I called ahead of our booking to ask if the restaurant allowed BYO as its much cheaper this way, and whoever answered (don’t recall the name) rudely said “it’s not necessary we have our own alcohol”. Of course that wasn’t my question, to which I asked again for clarification and was told that they don’t hold the license for BYO. However, upon arriving and looking at the menu, there was a $5 corkage fee ?? I spent $59 on a bottle of wine that would’ve cost me only $20 at the shop. I don’t understand why the staff who answered the phone was so rude when posed that question about BYO - as if it was offensive to ask, but maybe she was having a bad day. I do hope it be made clearer for future.

The pizza was a bit dry, but still great recipe for the crust. The customer service (in person) was fantastic and the staff were wonderfully attentive, kind and patient.

Would definitely dine here again, it was only a small discretion over the phone and were only human.
