Giggles Cafe/Espresso Bar — Restaurant in Melbourne

was looking forward to going to this place, especially after reading the reviews. all 4 tables were occupied when I went in yet there were spaces in the corner and a table which looked spare (8pax). I was told this was for the staff (!) not very melbourne I thought. it's the hospitality capital. fortunately a table became available and I sat down only to learn that "they weren't making breakfast today" and there wasn't any vegan options in their chilled food display other than a coconut slice (for breakfast?!) this was about 10.30am. I guess it's really just a coffee place and not really a cafe? the irony as I left ... giggles I thought,- they really did have a laugh. really disappointing, I had driven...

I've been here a couple of times had a good latte. But I was ordering a magic for a change and the barista asked me if I wanted a double shot, so I explained the attached photo and was already nervous about the outcome like if you have to ask then you don't know what a magic is. Just say you don't know and I'll happily change my order no probs. Anyway, it was not a magic basically a weak latte and a cold one at that. I'll come back but I won't order a magic.

Fantastic coffee, perfect location near Kananook station, but what really entices me to leave a review is how friendly the service is. The gentleman behind the counter is so polite and welcoming. It actually puts a perk in my morning! Whenever I enter the locals are locked in conversation with him. It's clear he has made an impact on the community. It's truly so warming and nice to see. I look forward to getting more coffees here whenever I am commuting...
