My daughter Isabelle had a High Tea party to celebrate her 18th birthday at the Glengala Hotel Function last saturday. and it was faultless. they were so helpful from the very first point of contact. Dora and her team went the extra mile to attend to an special requirements for my daughters' High Tea Party and Raynica's 20th Dinner party during the evening, they truly made an unforgettable event. Thank you Dora and team for giving my daughter a magical day. Excellent service continued till the night The Dinner party was fabulous, Nolli and Staff were attentive to our needs, what an outstanding service. Foods was outstanding and delicious, kudos to the Chef and Nolli for making sure all the dietary needs were met for all the guests. I cannot thank you enough Dora, Nolli and staff that made sure we as family just enjoyed this very special night. My family and guests could not stop talking in regards of how the foods was exceptional and praising how beautiful the events was. in which I would like to pass on to the Glengala Hotel managements and Staff for they are the ones that deserves all the the praises. Absolutely appalling, Christmas Eve. We had a table booked for 15 people for our family Christmas dinner. Came in a little early, saw our reserved table and got into setting our table with Christmas sweets for each guest and a special spot at the head of our table with a picture of our late mother who had just passed a few months ago. This was meant to be a special time for our family. We got to ordering our food, didn’t even make it halfway through our list of people because half the menu wasn’t available and was told by the cashier that they hadn’t restocked food therefore could not make half the dishes on the menu and if we’d like to just order starters. Biggest embarrassment and let down. Didn’t know what we were going to do at such short notice. I don’t know why they couldn’t have let me know when I made the reservation, called to let me know or even saved us the embarrassment of setting up first. Never again. Stayed at the Glengala hotel labor day weekend as we were working down in sunshine. We had booked a room for $139 through booking.com, upon getting to the hotel and checking in upon checking our bank account we realized they had charged us double for the room. We went and spoke to the hotel staff that were there that night and advised them of the error, staff were incredibly rude about THEIR error and refused to sort out a refund advising us nothing could be done until Tuesday, even through it was their error.

We were also advised bond would be returned next business day, however it was not so we called and spoke to hotel management who advised it can take up to 7 business days for the money to be returned and presented a very cold and uncaring demeanor when told about the error his staff had made and the treatment we received as a result.
