The shop has gone so much downhill since the previous owner. There is no chickens available after 6 pm. The quality of the chickens from the display tray is substandard. Cold or burnt in some spots but raw white in others. Or sad looking from sitting there, if they bother to roast any. The chips are now pathetic and chewy by the time you get them home. Many times they are double or more than double cooked or old and stale as they sit waiting in their trays. The owners defend their position of not having chickens available at six o’clock, dinner time mind you, as they don’t want to discard excess leftover cooked stock. I said to them but I called you and you said you are open until 7:30 and it’s now only 6 o’clock and there is no chickens. She said yes we’re open! But this is a chicken shop, we come to buy chicken for dinner and you don’t have any for the rest of your 1 1/2 hrs of open time because you don’t want to risk throwing out left over stock. I say you need a good lesson in business management. No wonder your business looks to be going down hill. Your quality and service is poor. Twice I left disappointed and had to explain to the family that were delayed for dinner as we are making other arrangements. Despite all the other reviews we gave this place a try and must say it exceeded our expectations. The salad bar looked fresh and we arrived after the lunch time rush (about 2pm). I got a 1/4 chicken with the seafood salad and it was amazing. As mentioned, salad was so fresh, the stuffing which I must say I don’t usually eat elsewhere was absolutely delicious. A mix of rice and herbs which once they hit my tastebuds I couldn’t get enough of. The chips were deliciously fresh and crispy doused with chicken salt (my fave). We also tried their chicken tender and potatoe cheese croquette. Would recommend ordering ahead if you want to grab a chook for dinner as they tend to sell out on the warmer days! I will definately be a returning customer. Keep up the good business.

I rarely do negative reviews but this time I'll make an exception since its now a common occurence. We have been ordering from here for a little while, a little over a month ago we got a chicken and it was undercooked a little but most of it was edible so I thought just a once off as the previous handful of times has been great.

But the last 2 times we have purchased the chicken has been undercooked and raw throughout, and inedible. We normally love the food but when we start receiving chicken like in the photo its time to look somewhere else for the time being.
