Hampton Park Pizza — Restaurant in Melbourne

The owner of the previous pizza business premises made one of the best pizzas we've had in the area, so we were excited when we saw a new pizza shop opening in it's place. The customer service was faultless and the owner seemed like a genuinely lovely person who wanted to please, the shop looks clean and well presented. BUT... the pizza was average. Although the amount of topping was ok, the crust was chewy (possibly not made in store?) and his flavour balance just wasn't spot on. Perhaps he's just learning so we'll try again and if it improves I will look forward to rewriting this review...

I feel like nowadays it's hard to get a good quality pizza especially if it's not Woodfired and 40 bucks a pop but ohmylord the pizza here is incredible, the ingredients are so quality and for the price they have?! We were hungry doing laundry next door and slipped in but this is definitely a hidden away gem. The workers are so friendly, the place is so clean and simple. It's just perfect and has a nostalgic feeling to it. (We are vegetarian and it SLAPPED, you know a place is amazing if the vegetarian...

This is our absolute favourite restaurant in Hampton Park and their pizzas have to be the best we've tried so far. The place is spotless, owner and the staff are amazing and they never fail to impress us no matter what we order. It has now become our weekly thing to order a pizza from them and they always maintain the high standard and quality that we experienced in our first visit. This place is a hidden gem and you are missing out if you haven't tried...
