HOVE. — Restaurant in Melbourne

Not the best place to go and mannerless staff , I ordered a cheese chilli fries under the fries menu, surprising to see beef on it. Anyways - I asked at the counter that there was no mention of beef on the menu for this item and I don’t eat beef so I need this either veg or with chicken and was old I have to pay for it as they believe it’s a common knowledge to know chilli cheese fries comes with beef, maybe at their restaurant only as I have never encountered it before.

The staff don’t even think of going one step and assuring to help the customer - purely shows lack of empathy and extremely poor customer service by ignoring what I meant by.

Be careful with this mob- Shifty arrogant people.!! $7 is enough to know their worth, I handed back the full pack and left the place with hunger and massive disappointment.!!

PS after your comment: most cafe mention ingredients in their menu, plus these fries were not under the beef section but under fries menu to know what it comes with..If you think we should ask every item on the menu there, your missing a customer service point…anyways I ain't coming there ever again.

Awesome burgers, staff, and coffee.. 2 minor criticisms if the owner wants to know.. 1 fix the menu... PLEASE!! I get its quirky to not have what's in the burgers on the menu, but at the expense of having people ask, 'what about that one?.. what about that one?' Its a bit of a turn off to try different things from there. 2 if your FB and Google page says 'grilling till 3' dont stop grilling at 2!! Even though the 2 gripes, I recommend everyone give this place a chance and try their amazing burgers 👌

When I find myself in Rosebud, I will sometimes visit HOVE. Each time I've only ever had the coffee. The staff are welcoming and the coffee delicious.
