Jessie's Pizza Lalor — Restaurant in Melbourne

A young girl served me. I gave my order and I explained that I needed to transfer funds from one account to another and it would take me a few minutes. I sat down on my phone and some time later the young girl said for me to pay so she can put the order through. I paid and waited outside the glass door within 1 metre so she could see my and she did notice me a few times. After waiting for a considerable amount of time, the owner asked her what I'm waiting for. She then grabbed a pizza from the top of the oven in a box and said "here is your pizza". I asked why the pizza was waiting for me when I clearly was waiting for it. Even though I was the only customer. She said she didn't know it was for me. Such terrible attitude from her. If I see she isn't working there any more, I may return as it is my local pizza shop. Highly Don't recommend.

Reply: who asked for a free pizza. Even if one was offered, I wouldn't accept it as the issue is with the service of a young girl. To be honest, I feel sorry for her because if she can't "get it right" in a pizza shop.... what future does she...

I live just down the road and had been coming here a long time but stopped about approx a year ago after bad service twice in a row. Today i thought i would try again thinking maybe its better now; BIG MISTAKE! I was there 24/3/23 at approx 2:45pm. Whilst the lady was making pizza i heard her sneeze which made me pay attention. I watched as she then put the pizza into the oven, handle equipment, touch the tablet/ipad and talk on her mobile phone with bits of ingredients on her hands. Another customer came in, which she took her money, gave change then went straight back to making the pizza with her bacteria infested hands. ABSOLUTE GRUB! Myself, and another customer that was already waiting were horrified at what we saw and both agreed we will never be back again or recommend anyone come here. Needless to say, i threw my pizza out and had to go elsewhere. To the owners, check your cameras. I was in the hi-vis looking over the counter and into the reflection of the fridge watching the lady who obviously had no idea about sanitary food handling practices....

Lots of options for pizza toppings but they are fairly basic. The lamb gourmet was the nicest one I’ve tried so far and will work my way through many. Chicken and pineapple was my least favourite because the chicken was processed. You can also buy other food then pizza. Drinks available. Order in advance if you like but they take no more than 15 minutes which is great. Staff are absolutely lovely. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Good parking out the front. Open long hours for those hungry pizza...
