Went for Thurs steak night. Steak was amazing. Cooked as ordered and the sauce complemented perfectly. Cider was crisp, beers flavourful. But.. while the steak was a good size the accompanying potatoes were measly. Delicious but small, I don't think enough to be a proper main size. Next time would need to order an extra side. We didn't want to line up to order again and wait another 30 minutes for sides so we just ate a bit when we got home.

Booking was made well in advance, including a highchair. When we arrived (6:30) found out there was no high chair available and were given one of the high tables with bar chairs that very young kids can't sit at. We were told Thursday nights seem to have more families and they only have 4 high chairs so they run out. So I'm thinking.. why don't you just get a few more? Surely if they're booked then you know you need them? We were sent booking reminders 3 times. Thankfully we were brought a high chair after a bit, before that my friend had to switch between sitting her 1yo on the table and holding her, but in the high chair the child's head didn't even come up to the high table and us sitting on higher bar chairs meant she couldn't really see anything so was unhappy there and started crying. I saw there was a normal table free so asked one of the wait staff if we could change and they kindly moved us. So after 30 minutes the situation then went from difficult to comfortable and happy. It pays to ask. Although we shouldn't have had to. So, I wouldn't come here again with very young kids knowing that booking in advance doesn't guarantee you'll have a usable table. As long as your party can sit at a high table...

I wish I could give this place a higher rating. The food was very good but the "style" of the place is a bit confusing. Is it a pub, a restaurant, a music venue or a local hang out?

To get to our table we had to navigate through a crowd of people - sort of like a pub. Looking at the menu's, the food options were interesting but a little expensive - sort of like a restaurant.

We had to ask where to order our food as there are no wait staff and ordered our meals at the counter - again sort of like a pub.

At the bar, we ordered our entrees, main meals and drinks and returned to our table, again having to navigate through the guys drinking around the taps - like a local hang out.

Our table was opposite the stage where live music was playing, and very good it was. Sort of like a music venue.

Then our meals arrived or I should we were drip fed. One main meal arrived with one entree, then one another main meal arrived, then the third main and second entree, finally the last meal arrived after two of us had finished eating.

I queried the serving person and was told it was a "brewery style kitchen", we deliver as it's prepared. Seems to me a poor way to run a kitchen. For the price, it's reasonable to expect better service.

Overall, our experience was more pub-like and not a place that we would revisit. Pity though as the food was very good.

Reminds me of another venue that tried to be everything to everyone - The Gourmet Paddock in Balnarring - which by the way just...

Lovely venue, lovely staff but unfortunately the service was not good. We were a party of 3 and all ordered on the same table number. They served 1 persons meal (salt and pepper squid, which was delicious) and we waited but the others weren't coming so she had started and finished eating by the time another persons meal was brought out. Mine still hadn't arrived. After waiting around half an hour, (probably much longer actually) I had to ask where my meal was. They said it was caught up in the dockets with another table?? The place was only half full so shouldn't have been that much of a delay. After another 10 or so minutes, I asked just to swap it for a salad but instead they brought out the my order which was the Dahl curry, at which time my two companions had well and truly finished their meal. The Dahl was absolutely revolting. Not only were the flavours awful, it was served Luke warm and it just hadn't been cooked long enough. The flat bread/roti was fried within an inch of its life. My friend kindly saved me some of her pumpkin and rocket salad (which was delicious). We still had a nice evening and it's a great atmosphere but on this night, the food was a big let down and the other meals although were very tasty, were also quite pricey for the...

More a 3.5 than a solid 3. It’s a very big space with lots of seating options indoors and outdoors. I booked for a large group of us (10 approx.) and we opted for outdoor seating. It was easy to order through their QR code. Not a very large menu - but not unusual for a brewery. I ordered the gnocchi to share with a friend, we had a side of the kipfler potatoes, and my friend had the fried cauliflower which we also shared (all pictured). Gnocchi was fine - could have used a little more flavour but overall fine, the kipfler potatoes were great - soft but not mushy, and seasoned well. The cauliflower was nice - had a good crunch and flavour which I assume came from the sesame and coriander. In terms of drinks not a lot of cocktail options but obviously good beer options. Unfortunately when we came some items on the menu were unavailable like the grilled corn. We were a bit disappointed as on their website menu it noted barramundi. This was not available on the app. Overall experience was fine. FYI - Parking limited on-site. We booked for 6pm and parking was flat out by around 6:30-7.

Jetty Road is a Modern Australian brewery located in an industrial area of Dromana, with a passion for all things craft beer, hospitality and locally sourced food. Indoor and outdoor seating areas, share tables and private spaces are available making it a destination for all seasons. Live music and talent that frequent their Friday-Sundays. We thought we would give them a revisit after 1.5 years, this time with a bunch of friends. Unanimously everyone loved the drinks, they have a great selection of beers and great value paddles and tastings. The food menu was a bit of a letdown. The cheese board wasn’t great, some really polarising cheeses on there. The Chicken Burger was nice, almost like a better version of a McChicken however the patty was burnt and dry. Both the Fried Chicken and Pastrami Roll were okay but nothing special. Would return for drinks for sure but probably not a meal. ⭐️ 3/5 💸 $$
