I recently visited Khalsa Sweets and ordered their Chole Bhature, expecting authentic flavors and quality. Unfortunately, I was left thoroughly disappointed.

The bhature were overly greasy, making them feel heavy and unappetizing. Instead of being light and fluffy, they were dense and lacked the fresh texture you’d expect. The chole (chickpea curry) was equally underwhelming – it was bland, lacked depth of flavor, and had an overwhelming amount of oil floating on top. To make matters worse, the spice balance was off, leaving the dish tasting artificial and overly salty.

For the price charged, I expected a lot more care and effort in the preparation. The overall experience felt rushed and lacked authenticity. Sadly, I won’t be returning for their Chole Bhature anytime soon. only i think there was only one girl who is managing all the thing kitchen and front counter and less staff what made more disappointed as there was alot of customer waiting in the que for the order as i waited 20 mins in que for ordering my food at counter and the waited at least 40 mins to get my order on table which is very worse. please consider my review so that you wont get bad review again. It was on 27 dec 2024 and it was Friday and u should consider more staff so that things can go more easy. Thanks heaps. If u have to confirm i can come and...

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!

Food quality has become very poor at this place. We ordered paneer, bread pakoras and samosas but we were very disappointed. Food was over fried and dried like rock. No flavour in their so called jumbo samosas. My kids hated them. Few years ago they use to be very good in terms of food etc but unfortunately now it is not worth it to go for any food and snacks shopping at this place. I was waiting for takeaway and I used their toilet it was filthy and staff member went to clean toilet after me and she cleaning toilet and went straight to kitchen and started serving food 😔😔 I mean who knows if they are hygienic or not at all, especially in kitchen behind counter, where they cook.

All their tables, chairs and cutlery are always filthy. I mean I am surprised his people dine in? I do not like to go to this place anymore. Very...

Food was really good but customer service is really bad. While I understand that everyone can have an off day, the consistently lackadaisical attitude displayed by the staff left a lot to be desired. It was evident that the individual lacked enthusiasm and failed to make any effort to engage with customers. This lack of friendliness and basic courtesy was off-putting right from the start. Overall, the lazy customer service left a lasting negative impression. The lack of enthusiasm, responsiveness, and professionalism exhibited by the staff made the entire experience unsatisfactory. I believe that customer service should be a priority in any business, as it greatly influences customer satisfaction and loyalty. In this particular case, Khalsa sweets fell short of meeting these expectations, resulting in a subpar...

Went based on word of mouth recommendation and the food tasted like Authentic Indian street food / snacks. The venue was clean, with plenty of parking. Located in the industrial area of Epping, its quite an odd location for a restaurant but the authentic flavours meant it was very busy. We ordered salted Lassi (served in disposable glasses), Chole Bhature and Tikki chaat. The service was good and the food was ready in a reasonable time. (wasn't a long wait on what seemed liked a busy period) ! The portions were generous ! One thing which wasn't ideal was that the tikki was literally floating in sauce / chutney as you can see in the picture. Still giving 5 stars as all in all, the food tasted very good and we are def going back for more.

Expressing my disappointment with the food we purchased from your store today. We bought 8 samosas around 5:45 PM, and unfortunately, the quality was extremely poor and unacceptable. Upon opening the packet, we immediately noticed a strong spoiled, unpleasant smell. I opened two of the samosas, both of which were clearly stale and inedible. The remaining ones are untouched, but we have no confidence in their safety. I have attached photos for your reference. This is not only disappointing but also raises serious concerns about food safety and hygiene standards being followed. Serving spoiled food is not only unprofessional, but it also puts customers’ health at risk.

We visisted Khalsa - Epping on a Sunday. Ambience/ atmosphere is good. The service was good and food arrived within 5 to 7 mins. We had Chole Bhature. I must say the Bhature were just amazing. They were so flavourful. I never had such Bhaturas ever. They were the best. Chole on the Otherhand was ok and nothing great. We also ordered Samosas. The samosas were tasteless and I really didnt like it. It was as if they had just filled in potatoes with some red chillies. We then ordered Sweet Lassi but then that as well didnt go well. It was way too watery like chaas. So highly recommend for Chole Bhature but not for samosa. Lassi, depends on individual preference.
