Linden place, Doveton seafood — Restaurant in Melbourne

Probably the best fish and chips in the Doveton/Endeavour Hills area. Very reasonably priced, very tasty and well cooked. Hamburgers also are very tasty and a decent size. Phone orders are usually ready within time stated on phone. *Haven't been here for over 12months as we moved but detoured as not far away, has new owners but quality and freshness was even better than ever, flake was super fresh,flakey texture and well battered the chips were fresh and tasty. Overall we were 100+% impressed in the quality and freshness plus service we great and price was very reasonable. Will endeavour to return when in area again. We'll done to Doveton...

Was kinda let down big time, thought I’d try out this place because it had reasonably good reviews only for my fish to taste really REALLY bad, it tasted slightly off and was not appetising at all and the calamari wasn’t real calamari so yeah not gonna come back and am extremely disappointed considering I actually had high hopes for this place. I’d recommend outlook drive fish and chips as they are hands down one of the best fish and chips places in all of Melbourne and I’ve tried a lot.

Placed a phone order at 6.20pm, told it would be 15 minutes..Hubby got there at 6.40, paid for the order and sat down to wait.. 15 minutes later (at 6.55) he got up and asked when our order would be ready and it had been sitting on the shelf all along (since before he'd got there!) To top it off the food was basically inedible.. potato cakes were black inside, dim sims were over cooked, fish had a funny taste and chips were less than average... total waste of $17.. will not return and would...
