Mooju Sri Lankan Restaurant — Restaurant in Melbourne

The food was horrible. Who gives a cold pack of food to a customer? If we wanted reheated food, we wouldn’t be paying money to buy it off a restaurant. I ordered a village pack and I got a cold rice pack. Went home and reheated to find the rice as dry as sand. Curries didn’t taste fresh at all. Portion sizes were criminal. Ngl the fish ambulthiyal was decent. I can’t believe I spent $17 on a cold pack of rice. If yall can’t make fresh food, at least let the customers know beforehand. Should be ashamed to call yourself a SriLankan restaurant. Been to many other Lankan restaurants and they have all been amazing. This was my first and last time here....

Bought the banana leaf traditional srilankan food. 95% rice rest is nothing. We as customers pay 15 $ for a decent portion but this is worthless and not satisfying. I don't know why they are serving food with a tiny spoon. Total rip off. First rule of business : satisfy the customer then they will buy more and then you can increase profit. This owner is just saving cost by not serving the customer proper and losing bunch of them. Ugh typical srilankan business...

Used to be 5 stars until I went at dinner time. Meals contained 95% rice and a tiny bit of meat. She would’t let me have choice of two meats either. No vegetable curry available. Pappadam's soggy. Drink fridge didn’t have cold drinks, it’s like they turned down the temp or something to save money? Recommend only going during the day when there are fresh pan rolls, and good choices of meat and veg. (Which I hope is still going). I used to...
