Noodle King — Restaurant in Melbourne

I've been going to this place since I was a little kid and I will say, it never disappoints! I can see the hard work that all the staff put into running this place, especially the cook. It's hard to complete all those orders, especially during rush hour with just one cook! So, hats off to their team. The dedication definitely shows in the service and in the delicious food they consistently put out. My entire family loves it, it's always the first to be mentioned when we wanna eat somewhere. I know over the years the price has increased but I cannot blame them, everything's crazy expensive now; and considering that, the prices are well within reason. It's nothing that'll break the bank. However, with that being said I think even if I were on my last few cents (dollars) I'd still without a doubt go to Noodle King. Ordered Nasi goreng with no pork. Shockingly there was only 1 or 2 chicken pieces with few vegetables. It was almost like I ordered vegetable nasi goreng. I called them to complain but they hung up on me after listening to everything. I took the food back and the (chef & lady on register) were rude and inconsiderate. Was very disappointed in this noodle place, as I love my noodles. Being closest to home, I'd hope to be a regular here, but NO.

I've got 4 different dishes from this place, on separate occasions.

The proportions were perfect. Ample meat, veges to noodles. I liked that.

Meat was very questionable though, sauces seemed 'watered down', 2 dishes had a distinct burnt taste.
