My wife and I noticed a place and meant to try their menu as locals for ages. Staff really pleasant, which is the saving grace of this review.
Photo attached of the burnt bits of a 15âCanadian Pizza $32 (about 1/8th inedible) which took me about 10 minutes to remove to get a run at the bulk of pizza. I ordered the Canadian, my bad, or perhaps they donât particularly like the people north of their boarder. Pizza had a nice thin base, which I like, very burnt, I donât like. Topping was very light on and thin, mainly a little melted cheese quite burnt, tasted like burnt charcoal, a few thin sliced pineapple in maple syrup which tasted like burnt crust, the rest I cannot recall. Cost was over $30 but I couldnât eat it, my wife didnât want to try. I reckon being kind at a 1/5
As an entree I snapped up a âgarlic moonâ $15 a version of garlic bread, way better than pizza score, about a 2/5. Best thing was a fizzy apple drink $5 recommended by a waitress 5/5.
To be fair Iâve only ordered one pizza, maybe I shouldnât have been wearing my Council Badged vest, other pizza might be nice, I donât know, perhaps a reviewer can go out and try other than a Canadian. Let me know, I cannot possibly spend another $50+ to have same experience with other pizzaâŚ
I was told that the style is American Style, so I am super grateful to know this as I have a Visa to fly to USA. I definitely wonât be ordering any pizza in USA! Hope was just me being really unlucky, other dinners try the Canadian, but donât blame me!
Staff were great, food very expensive, left 1/2 plus 1 slice behind and...

Their menu as its shopfront name describes name, is ELECTRIC and DIFFERENT. They whip up some unique inventive specials in their tiny kitchen that have never been seen on your traditional pizzas - miso, shiitake, hot honey, their imagination runs wild.
Their pizza base is almost perfection. Their blistered crusts with their thin base, loaded with an immense spread of flavour and toppings (but not too much). Itâs supposed to replicate The Worldâs Greatest Pizza cities and if thatâs how they are, I would not mind booking a flight to New York.
Am so coming back for these pizzas with a party of friends because the vibes here...

Okay, some of the best pizza Iâve had Northside hands down. This small pizza shop has incredible 15 inch pizzas New York style (if you canât visualise dimensions like myself, see the pic with my hand for size).
We had the: âTaters pizza with Gorgonzola, spicy red pepper sauce, confit potatoes and chives ($32) âMargy (aka a fancy Margherita) with mozzarella, fior di latte, fresh basil, stracciatella and pecorino romano ($33)
The sauce on the pizzas was so rich and delicious, the bases were nice and thin with a fluffy crust. The pizzas had a very slight woodfired crisp to them but were not burnt, they absolutely found the happy medium!!
All the ingredients were fresh and delicious, genuinely no notes!
The GF bases are 12 inches, so they deduct $3 per typical pizza price which is GREAT!
It is fairly small in here, which means you canât book a table. At the moment theyâre getting so popular that pizzas are selling out at 8pm some nights so get in quick!!
Overall 4.6...
