Red Rooster Sunbury — Restaurant in Melbourne

Disappointed when I ordered delivery on the weekend through their website. I placed my order at 630 in which I received a confirmation email and text that my order had been received by Red Rooster and being made delivery at 7.20, ok must be busy night. No delivery came, I checked the link I was sent it advised me it was still with the restaurant. I rang them at 750 asking where it was, the woman I spoke with says "oh we just got the order I'm doing it now, its on its way". Not the case as I know from the confirmation they had the order at 630. By this stage I was starving and the only reason I asked for delivery is I had no car. I waited till 830 then rang again and spoke to the same person who said "oh I was just about to call you to cancel".....I asked her what the issue was, she stated they dont do their own deliveries anymore they use Door Dash and couldn't get anyone to deliver it... (nothing on website states this), I told her of my disappointment with lack of information and service and she said she would pass it on to the manager. Red Rooster had my order at 630 and instead of ringing to say we cannot complete your order or even telling me this when I rang, she strung me along for 2 hours making me think it was coming. They gave me a refund, as they should but...

First time we decided to try Red Rooster, the fried chicken was great and the REDS ROAST WITH ALL POTATO COMBO were really great. Today we decided to have another meal there... the REDS ROAST WITH ALL POTATO COMBO was cold, very little peas or sweet potato and could not be any smaller, the same for the CLASSIC HALF ROAST COMBO, cold, almost no chips... they were spread around the chicken and there was less than the amount it comes in a kids lunch box. Terrible food, cold and not enough. In the Roast with all potato combo you could see the bottom of the silver box. We rang the store to complain and the staff member basically said for us to go to the website and complain there. Red Rooster.......

Just had the best lunch ever from the Red Rooster at Sunbury. It was a Quarter Chicken with Crispy Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Peas & Gravy. The portion was huge & even though I bought it at the Drive Thru and drove home to eat it, when I got home it was still lovely and hot and the veggies were all still crispy. It was restaurant quality and only cost me $11.95 which included a can of drink. They've got a great team working at this location and the service is excellent. So if you're worried about walking around getting lunch with all the COVID Stress at the moment just go to Red Rooster Drive Thru and give these Crispy Veggies a go. You'll be thanking me.
