Riverstone Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Melbourne

First time trying Riverstone Pizza & Pasta. Don't normally leave reviews but wanted to thank the owners & staff for a positive experience. Ordered a Meat Lovers Pizza, Fettuccini Carbonara, Lasagne and Garlic Bread and 1.25L bottle of drink. They have very reasonable meal offers and it was better value for me to take advantage of their 2 pasta meal offer. Saved just under 10% on the pasta and garlic bread and received free 1.25L bottle of drink. The only disappointment of the meal was the garlic bread. Only 40% of the bread face had garlic butter on it. I assume they buy this from an external supplier so not really their fault and why I haven't taken any stars off my review. The pizza and pasta on the other hand was sensational. Pizza was hot, fresh and with plenty of quality ingredients. Haven't tried the lasagne yet, it's in the fridge for another night but visually looks great. Fettuccini Carbonara was really really good. Very generous serve, could very easily make 2 serves out of it. Tasty, pasta cooked well and the bacon used was of a high standard. Ordered on their website at 8PM on a Saturday night, delivered hot 40 minutes later and for a very reasonable delivery fee. A great experience for a first time customer and will be definitely enjoying their food and service...

This was one of our favourite pizza shops with delivery times being really good,and hot fresh food,unfortunately for the Third time they have let us down,order placed with menu log at 6:47 with delivery being between 7:20 - 7:40,called at 7:45 to be told it's left the store 8:05 it's still not here,I call back and the girl was lovely and apologised she said if it's not there in 5 mins call back so I waited till 8:22 to call back as food was still not here as I was on hold at 8:25 the delivery driver turned up so I hung up as I was still on hold, the driver didn't apologise for the delay at all even tho from my knowledge he left 40 mins prior to getting to my house,I understand there are other orders to be delivered and its busy but a call from the store letting you know there is a delay would save you getting under 5 star reviews in my opinion as this seems to be a common problem,end result the pasta was very hot but the pizza was warm and garlic bread not even close to warm. I recently visited Riverstone Pizza, excited to try their much-talked-about Margherita pizza. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The moment I placed my order, I noticed the staff member who took it had dirty nails. This was concerning enough, but what happened next was completely unacceptable. He proceeded to make the pizza without washing his hands or wearing gloves, he started preparing the dough. This blatant disregard for basic hygiene standards was alarming. I immediately requested to cancel my order. It’s disheartening to see such negligence in food handling, especially in a well-known establishment like Riverstone Pizza. I hope they take this feedback seriously and implement better hygiene practices in the future. For now, I’m hesitant to recommend this...
