You know those kebabs you have where they're not the best kebabs you've never had, but they're perfectly fine and acceptable?

I think that just about categorises these kebabs for me.

Firstly the customer service was excellent, and largely one of the reasons I gave this four stars instead of three.

The pricing was absolutely spot on, $10 for the kebab and $1 extra for cheese, another reason why I gave it 4 stars.

The kebab itself wasn't perfect, it was definitely acceptable edible, especially for the price.

Just personally I felt that the garlic sauce was a little bit tasteless, I like a bit stronger garlic sauce than most people, the chicken had this weird, almost Mediterranean taste, it was definitely a nice take but not quite what I was expecting.

And the overall presentation including the construction and the wrapping of the kebab was excellent.

Was it the best kebab I ever had? No. Would I come back here and eat again, absolutely.

Definitely recommend trying...

It is great to see that you engage with your customers on here. I hoped to message you privately on Uber Eats about my problem, but it wasn’t possible without placing an order.

We tried to order from you today through Uber Eats. We were interested in the Shawarma Wrap for $16.

Unfortunately (and as can be seen in the attached image), the actual minimum price was $18.50 because we were “required” to select a canned soft drink, even though we didn’t want one. There was no way to order shawarma wraps without also purchasing other unwanted items.

We hope that this is just an accidental technical error, and we look forward to trying you in the future (and updating this review accordingly) when we can order shawarmas without being forced...

Look... I'm giving this place a 5 for the food because it's better than a 4. And honestly, the food is prepared with care and respect and made fresh daily.

These guys have a humble little shop front, but don't let that fool you. This is a true hidden gem, with not only quality meat that is not only kept and sourced well, but is cooked by someone with a true understanding of cooking.

Yes it's a simple and small menu, but this is all it needs to be. There really done a brilliant job. Fresh, daily prepared dips, and meat. The fact that they do this speaks volumes about their understanding of good food and their respect for it as well as their customers.

Absolutely lovely team of people. Friendly, open and welcome you as family.
