Soprano's Pizza Wollert — Restaurant in Melbourne

We dined in and ordered don pepperoni pizza, braised lamb fettuccini pasta and gnocchi bolognaise. Upon arrival of our food, we had to wait a while before we could eat as we didn’t have any cutlery to eat with and the pizza was served in the box. We asked for cutlery and ten minutes later we were eating. We weren’t given any plates or glasses to drink with but we were happy to drink room temperature bottled waters. Then we were given plates which was good. Even though it felt like more of a takeaway dine-in, all that was needed was a bit of organisation and the restaurant definitely has a lot of potential. The man did apologize and was polite and respectful and did approach us to see whether we needed anything else. We were really happy, all our food was very delicious and the portions were so generous, that we were satisfied and thanked the man (sorry we didn’t get his name) and said we would definitely be ordering...

When moving to a new area, something on the to-do list is finding the new favourite local pizza. After trying a couple different places, I can confidently say Soprano’s is it. I’m obsessed with the pizzas here and haven’t strayed since! 😇

Pizzas are always cooked perfectly, I love the bases. Not too thin, but also not too thick and doughy. Generous amounts of toppings. And the prices are super reasonable! I love getting a family pizza to stretch it further and have leftovers.

The fat boy chips are the literal best! I hate the stale dry chips you get everywhere else. I found even if we have leftovers, I give them a splash of water and they reheat well in the oven, which I’m rarely able to do with most chips.

Customer service was at its lowest, the chick I was personally served by after 15 minutes since arriving was soooo oblivious to me and another customer awaiting in line. To top it off, I had made a phone order to pick up and was told 15 to 20 mins; due to road works and detours I got there in 25 minutes since ordering, further that I had to wait another 15 minutes to receive the food. She knows who she is because I gave it to her life. Honestly just trying to flirt with five males at once… truth be told she was terrible at it lol. Just yap yap yap
