Subway (Dandenong) — Restaurant in Melbourne

I have purchased from this Subway Restaurant on a handful of occasions and have always been somewhat disappointed. It is a small Subway with a few tables and chairs both inside and out. The service from the staff is quite disappointing. I am sure if their moral about being at work and their attitude towards customers improved it would be a much more pleasant experience. Other disappointments include the cleanliness of the restaurant (tables and chairs always have leftover diners scraps) and I wish I had of asked for the staff members name who last served me - Maybe my last order is partially my fault - I should of been 'strong' enough to request that she change her disposable gloves after serving the last gentleman and exchanging money in them! (I genuinely thought the changing of gloves was almost mandatory after each sale/transaction at Subway!) Although this Subway is more convenient to me, from now on I will be reverting back to the Subway an additional 2 minutes up the road - have been going there for over 3 years and I must say it is definitely busier (Cnr Greens and Dandenong Frankston Road) however, worth waiting in line to be served by staff members who make your chosen sub...

This place is ALWAYS dirty. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it fully clean, or smelling clean at least. The tables are always dirty and the salad bar is always a mess with what appears to be cross contamination between many of the ingredients. They always have many flies and don’t bother to chase them away. When I asked the lady serving us to make sure the fly doesn’t land on our food and to chase it away, she had an attitude and was very abrupt taking our order. This is terrible behavior and disappointing customer service (or their lack of). Workers are sloppy and take no pride in the sandwich they are making, they just plop stuff on the bread in a very messy manner. Not to mention when leaning over to grab ingredients, their clothes often press up against the sandwich they’re making — again when asked to be careful, im answered with an unpleasant stare and an short and abrupt “anything else?” Extremely disappointing. Look closely at the pictures attached you will see the flies and how messy the sandwich board is. What if people had allergies? This is a health concern also. They need to fix this before the Health and safety...

This location was deplorable. Staff need training asap. Watched as staff never changed gloves between customers. After directly handling meat, put a vegetarian sandwich together. Then proceeded to directly start restocking salad and putting their meaty fingers through all the 'new' salads. Staff were short, rude and uninterested. They seemed 'rushed' despite only two groups of customers, with three staff members on and three sandwiches to make. The price was barked at us when they had finally worked out the cost. Our vegetarian upon seeing the last couple's sandwich decided not to buy anything from this store. We walked out disgusted. If you value your life. Do not eat here.

Don't believe the 5 star reviewers, most of those profiles have 4 reviews all for subways in Victoria. Owners should put as much effort into training and service as they do faking reviews. Shut them down by not giving...
