For a training restaurant full of young students, it is exceptionally good food and service. Went with a party of 50 for a function. The students were exceptional and the views are stunning. The meals were served wedding style, alternating around the table. The wines served were all from the restaurant vineyards and of exceptional quality. The Shiraz was particularly beautiful. Did you know the cafe there is staffed by the students? They make the coffees and everything. Fun to be there amongst the new trainees. I had the pleasure of tasting the Swipers Gully 2008 Shiraz last Saturday after the Eltham College open day 2015. The excellent wine was the fruitiest i have ever tasted. I will now try a few mores wines from Swipers Gully and pass on the great news to all my wine drinking friends. Congratulations on a fine wine,keep it up .
