Here comes that one scathing reviewer, again. I have had food from here before and now the dust has settled. I am focusing on what matters, the food. Very commercialized. Overpriced. You can get better burgers elsewhere for less. They have the food prepared like it's purely transactional and ready to go international, who cares about health and taste? not good.

Still in a bit of a shock with how average the food is, with how expensive it is to get it(delivery they said is a 30% markup but that's no excuse for the lack of quality ingredients). THe potato cakes are not great, you're better off binning it, this is something that looks and tastes like a potato cake you can buy from a supermarket, doesn't give me any in-house impression, facade, a phony. Did they microwave it? They also didn't listen to specific order instructions unless you go in person. Wouldn't recommend unless you love throwing money at people for a bone stock commercial taste, this place is now officially the Gloria jeans of burgers. If you disagree, here's an exercise: order some basic bugers and tell me it's anything special or worth raving about at that high a price. Also my beef patty was clearly damn near pink n raw in the middle, must be the ol' trick of marketing selling us a "juicy beef patty". living life on the edge by ordering miscellaneous undercooked beef from here. the distinct lack of lettuce and increasingly thin cheese slices is interesting, it's like they're cutting every corner to the bare minimum. as for the bun bread it's the same skimping story, though I prefer less carbs in my meals, so I lucked out there

atmosphere is 3.5 stars generally not too shabby but the place is windy as all f$$$k and you can be asked to sit outside, which is interesting customer...

Just picked up a burger and chips. Sadly the kitchen duty seems to have been in a rush to complete the order. Said it would take 10 mins to be ready, but I was at FW in 4 mins as thats how close I was to the address. The burger was ready when I walked up to the counter. The burger patty not cooked, just tasted like as if it was only thawed on the grill plate without properly cooked and the chips at bottom hardly had any salt. Have tasted way better on previous occasions. Guess I now need to see who’s on kitchen duty before ordering, in case I decide to patronise again. Disappointed !! ☹️

Since, writing this feedback I have had the Restaurant owner reaching out and addressing my concern. I have to say that deserves acknowledging their efforts and updating this feedback. For that I would like to give them 5⭐️ as that proves they do value their customers, how they do business, and appreciate and are open to fixing up any unfortunate mishaps. As such I am updating this review, as it should not only be about raising a negative but should also be about recognising and acknowledging the positive of their efforts and how they go about in dealing with such matters!...

Did Melbourne really need another burger joint? Probably not, but I'm glad it's here. We ate here on Saturday afternoon in the ambience of Breasides factory area enjoying the winter sun, but honestly it was quite nice. The shop was previously your run of the mill factory tuck shop until 5 months ago they changed into more of a burger store. But let's not waste anymore time, how was the burger? The meat was good and cooked well, all ingredients appeared fresh and the bun was fresh and not too invasive to the overall burger. Also had a side of chips and onion rings. The onion rings were great, not overcooked and not greasy. As for the chips they were probably the weakest part of the meal, lacking any flavour and still soft they just didn't have that crunch. But if all that wasn't enough the value was the real clincher, we fed 2 people for $35 and that got us 2 burgers, 2 sides of chips, 2 cans of drinks and some onion rings. It was worth every dollar and then some. Definitely worth a visit if you like burgers and like supporting some very...

After transforming from a typical industrial area fast food take out place to a burger joint only 5 months ago, the Famished Wolf is doing a great job. Located in the industrial area of Braeside, the weekends are quiet with ample parking. The burgers are pretty good, with well cooked beef. They currently don't serve alcohol but are waiting on permits from the council, so Softdrink, basic coffee and milkshakes are available. Staff are friendly and happy to answer questions. Price is a massive thumbs up! It's a cheaper lunch here then most burger joints, but due to their growing popularity that probably won't last. Only downside for me was the fries, they looked and tasted like truck stop chips that have sat in a bain-marie for a few hours. Otherwise definitely worth a visits

Second visit update, took the kids who had cheese burgers and chips from the kids menu and milkshakes, the we're so happy and very full when we left. Nice surprise the milkshakes coming with lollies and a Tim Tam. First time trying Famished Wolf and I can say without hesitation that'll we'll be back. I had the USA Burger but with Wolf Sauce which was brilliant. Perfect sized burger for lunch. I said I really wasn't a BBQ Sauce fan, so they actually gave us some of their home-made BBQ Sauce to try with our chips. It was actually quite good. My 15 year old had the Summer Cluck'n Burger which she loved. Although it was so big she could barely finish it. Big thank you to Jamie for suggesting we head out here for lunch!

Long wait for food to be served when we were the only people in the restaurant, nearly 40min is too long for a burger place. I understand they do alot of uber orders and may be the bulk of their sales, but customers dining in should have priority. When food arrived the burger and hotdog were ok, but the wait put us off and was not worth it. The Texan fries were cold when served, appreciated they made another for us and the fries were hotter however the guacamole on top was stone cold like just out of the freezer so wasn't pleasant to eat. Hopefully it was just an off night as reviews were good and why we chose to dine there initially.
