West End Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Melbourne

We go there often as it is convenient. The fish and chips are good however don't buy a burger unless you like bread. The patties are way too small. FYI this is a burger with the lot ! OK a little update. I try and support local businesses that is why I continued to go here. No Burgers though!!! Anyway I brought up the issue of the Hamburger and the owner laughed at me and told me to go to McDonald's. If I hadn't already paid for my grilled fish and chips I would have left. Unfortunately as I tried to explain raise your price a little don't say everything is more expensive and charge 14 dollars for what's in the picture above! So sorry but if in Warrandyte keep driving until you find a less obnoxious owner and someone who doesn't have an excuse for everything. For a local business I am sorry to say they are not honest with our kids and it's not isolated incidents Kids ordered a lunch meal and told no drink you pay extra when it clearly says drink. On another occasion Charged extra 50c for kids to tap with a card than what it said on the board for price when asked they would not give a answer. I have heard from the local kids many other similar incident. If you had a competitor you would not rip of the local kids. As a family: my experience is the owners are rude and disappointed with the food burnt or soggy and taste like old oil. Prefer to drive out of Warrandyte head to research if I'm too lazy...

Warrandyte we’re getting ripped off !! It’s the only fish & chip place in our area. We bought a very big order , the amount of chips we got got for $15 was disgusting RIPPED OFF !! They weigh the chips !! the scollops are so small, the burger was taste 👅 less. No competition so the charge what they want & everything is smaller than the average fish& chip places because they can get away with it.
