White Cockatoo Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

I just ate the best Bahn Mi pork roll of all time at the white Cockatoo Cafe …. A very generous amount of pork with the perfect amount of chilli, coriander, carrots and spring onion and hoi sin on a fresh crunchy baguette…… this place is now the yard stick for which all other Bahn Mi will measured against, seriously, the flavours are still rummaging through my gob 25 minutes after snaffling this culinary...

I have come here many times with my grandmother for meals never had issues with food actually its beautiful food beautiful service nice roast vegetables with meat. The ladies that run & work in the cafe are great with my grandmother who lives in the retirement village that backs onto the shopping centre. I recommend coming in for a meal or takeaway.

Cheap and reliably good cafeteria style food, with a reasonably quiet atmosphere. Nothing fancy, but you get what you pay for. My pork sandwich had real roast pork cut from the bone, my iced coffee actually had ice-cream, and the fries were large and well cooked, not at all...
