Swan Valley Brewery — Restaurant in Middle Swan

We took a group of 12 seniors to our lunch booking today at 12:15 pm. All our clients ordered then they saw Meal Time Service 45mins. They were then told 30mins so ok we waited. 30 mins came and went, I approached female staff member a total of 3 times. First time she said if I go and say something to the chef he will get mad and abusive. 2nd time I said it might be better that we cancel orders and go elsewhere, she told the chef he then said meals comng out shortly..... So after 3rd time I said t that these elderly people cannot wait any longer she finally asked the chef and I was informed 5 mins so ok I said.... meals started to come out 15 mins later my meal was not prepared Chocken strip's chips seniors. So after the female staff member walked out the chef said I can give you a steak sandwich...mmmmm NOT WHAYT I ORDERED, so rather than wait longer I said ok and what came out was a hamburger and chips. THE Hamburger was awful 😖 so I eat the patty a few chips then left the rest. It was totally embarrassing seeing staff argue, yelling, shouting etc.... The table next to us with over 16 people weee and as they told me waiting for an hour for their meals with some asking fir a refund.... I wasn't happy at all with my meal. Unfortunately after our experience we won't be ever coming back to have lunch at this establishment in the future. If I owned this but I would seriously be looking at my chef and front of house staff, I was embarrassed with all the carry on. Reminded me a bit like...

My partner and I were looking for somewhere different in the Swan Valley, when we stumbled upon this little GEM! Couldn't believe when I walked in. The place is devine. All new, homely and yet 5 star layout with all the trimmings. When we arrived at the bar we were greeted by one of the owners himself and staff. He proceeded to tell us about the beers and made his own choices as to what we would like and was pretty spot on!!! The difference was we were not there for a formal tasting and that was great that he understood. So we went about our afternoon drinking and dining. And the food I must say was also 5 star!! Extremely well priced and would've happily paid more for the quality. The owners are friendly, knowledgeable and even take the time to spend with their guests individually. Smokers are welcome, which is a huge refreshing change, and the area is away from non smokers enough but without missing out in the action. Beautiful back play area for games and plenty of run room for the kids alongside the playground too. If you're looking for some down to earth Aussie tavern atmosphere with the Swan Valley feel, this is the one to go to!! Will now consider it our new local. I was after a dog friendly lunch location where I could also get some sun before the rain, just 25 minute drive from Highgate where I live is Swan Valley Brewery. I give 5 stars for the service, amenities & for allowing dogs. Huge venue that is not a fancy high end brewery, SVB is built for comfort, so no need to over dress, ladies jeans & nice top will be dressy here. The property is huge & for this it is an awesome place to take the kids. Lots of lawn area to kick a soccer or footy around & not be too close to tables. Small play ground with sand. Designated smoking area. Amole seating inside & loads more outside undercover & out in the weather. Clean bathrooms. Menu had a good variation of pub food. We ordered the steak sandwich & lemon pepper squid, both we cooked well & enjoyed. When you order it’s at the bar & you are given a beeper to take away with you to alert you to your meals being ready to collect. Staff were wonderful!! All staff that I spoke with were happy 😃 & engaging. Service was proficient.
