So, it took us three tries to get into this place. It doesn't stay open into the afternoon and then we also had too large a group. We were also miffed that the phone number was disconnected so our attempt to book in advance was unsuccessful. Despite this, we finally made it and the servers George and Raph were super helpful in getting us a table for 8, set up for our group of 9. I cannot stress enough their helpfulness. They also did breakfast for us even though it was after the cutoff time. The nuggets from the kids menu were actually the best nuggets I've ever had! And finally we had a lovely walk and took some photos in the garden. They also have water bowls for dogs, and lots of really unique table settings and decor! Tldr: it's kind of busy/exclusive/expensive but that's because it's very good. Dont go if you just want chill eats. Do go if you want to stay for the experience.

Amazing amazing amazing!! I came here for breakfast and I was blown away. I ordered the Full Plate (big breakky) and everything on there was delicious. The bread was fresh, crispy, and buttered. Bacon was Crispy and the has browns were out of this world. The relish was a beautiful, sweet contrast to the savoury foods. All the cherry tomatoes and mushrooms were deliciously seasoned. I can't get over it. I came home and told my hubby I just had the best breakfast of my life ! - Big claim I know 😊 I also wanted to mention the customer service. All the girls were amazing. So sweet and attentive. The cafe was busy but came out so quickly. The outside was covered with beautiful shady trees, and we were able to sit outside for a while after breakky while the kids played. Everything amazing, do yourself a favour and check this place out!

2025: Ordered our food as normal but the kitchen lost our order as they unbelievably unplugged the ticket printer DURING service to move it WTF? By the time we asked where our food was, the kitchen was shut as they were closing early as it was quiet. The service staff especially when it’s quiet should notice a table without food, they clearly had nothing to do. Complete failure by kitchen and service staff. 2020 Review: Fantastic breakfast for us and the family. Very popular with a wide variety of people from cyclists, families with little kids, older couples, and local constabulary. The food and coffee were all nice and the staff very friendly.

I visited Taylors In The Valley as we were coming to the area and noted they were “vegan and vegetarian friendly”. They had a few options on the menu, which could be made vegan.

When our meals came, they were the dullest, most boring, bland, and uncreative food we have ever had – nothing inspiring or visual on their presentation either. Half pumpkin fried up and dumped on a piece of bread. And mine, just a cup of peas (looked like tin peas) on top of the avocado. We also ordered mushrooms on the side which were terrible bland and chewy. Not sure if the chef has lost their passion for working with food and coming up with creative and sublime dishes for all of their customers; it’s not hard to prepare great-tasting plant-based food. They also didn’t have one cake or slice that was plant-based to have with our coffee when I asked them. ☹

Would I return? No—much better places out there that are not solely plant-based restaurants but still making some incredible dishes full of flavour with some imagination.

The restaurant and location itself was lovely – the outside was gorgeous and rustic inside. No issues with service – they told us there would be a wait for the food upfront. But otherwise, it was a colossal...

A unique setting with a modern menu. Situated in the heart of the Swan Valley Taylor's offers surrounds that can best be described as rustic with a touch of old world charm. The cafe has used it's surrounds in a very imaginative way, the use of a watertank cut in half that has seating for two is a clever addition to the ample seating. The menu provides a fresh modern twist and makes extensive use of Swan Valley produce. Taylor's is a great place for lunch or just a coffee catch up with a delicious selection of cakes on offer. The local art community is very well represented so picking up a little something for yourself or a special occasion gift is a good addition. I certainly took advantage of what was on offer, three Christmas presents now off the list. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Taylor's is not licensed which certainly does not diminish it's appeal. So if your looking for somewhere that little bit different consider Taylor's. You just might be pleasantly surprised, I know I was. Oh and for those who have a sweet tooth the chocolate factory is just...

I went on Saturday 27 January 2024 with a friend for lunch. I made a booking on 16 January 2024, when we got to the main entrance, I was told by wait staff that the reservation had only gotten to them that morning and it did not provide instructions whether we wanted to sit inside or outside. I showed the staff member my booking and showed her that I had selected to sit inside.

I ordered the Full Plate and asked for the gluten free option. I received my meal and after eating a little bit of the bacon and egg realised the bread had gluten. I took it back and was told a new plate is being made and the apology was not really sincere. When I received the gluten free version it was soaking in oil. I had to pat the bacon, mushrooms and chorizo on a napkin before eating it. I Could not eat the bread as it was soggy from the oil on the plate. My stomach was already triggered from the gluten on the first plate and then my stomach was off from all the oil for the rest of the day. I did not enjoyed my meal and it ruined my catch up with my friend. I was really disappointed with my experience...
