Coward's Cakes West — Restaurant in Mildura

I have been to this place once but it's enough to write a review based on my experience of dining at various places. It's Mildura's oldest cafe I have been told. There are a few issues that I found. They have a really big dining area inside however the upholstery was torn and it seemed like an outdated seating layout. I ordered a gluten free chicken sandwich and a chai latte. To be honest, the chicken smelled so bad that I couldn't have more than one bite...the chai latte had coarse particles and didn't taste good either. I think the cafe is on sale and hopefully the new owners realize the caveats they need to work on. I am sure there are plenty. It needs someone with a modern mindset to evolve it from a quaint old place to a buzzing modern cafe and make food the hero...

Love coming here with our little group of friends. Plenty of indoor and out door seating available. The range of fresh made hot foods, Sandwiches and cakes is amazing. Delicious and pocket friendly. This is a nice bakery and cafe with plenty of room to dine inside or outside. Has a wide variety of pies, sausage rolls, pasties, hot finger foods, sandwiches, wraps, rolls, desserts and drinks.
