This was unfortunately a very disappointing experience as I have been here before and really enjoyed it the last time. The coffee was delicious. Good coffee flavours, came out. Really enjoyed it. Enjoyed the view and all the birds on the river. The food is where things went down quickly. It over 30 minutes for a “freshly baked” scone to come out. It was probably freshly baked about 4 days ago. We could not even cut it. They were good about it and gave us our money back but to wait 30 minutes for something that wasn’t actually freshly baked was disappointing. I had the pumpkin and feta arancini balls. They were pretty good but to be honest I was so hungry at that point I would have eaten anything. The table next to us also received some pretty average service with their meals coming out in drips and drabs. The wait staff are so friendly, it’s the chef that lets...

Extremely disappointing customer service - I would not recommend!!!

I booked a function for 46 people at Dockside Cafe in July/August 2021. As instructed, I followed up 1.5 weeks before my event regarding catering in March, and the new manager Jo had no record of my event. I understand mistakes happen, however she took absolutely no responsibility for this, despite it being an admin error on their behalf.

The prices had dramatically increased, and despite evidence of previous correspondance & booking, our original prices were not honoured.

The lack of remorse that was shown, and the way in which she communicated, was nothing short of unprofessional and disrespectful. It was an extremely disappointing experience.

I WOULD NOT recommend this venue to anyone. Luckily we were able to move venues, and we had an incredible experience at The Setts...

This little cafe was remodeled (within the past few years) and it's MUCH nicer inside now. Also the service was EXCELLENT. Our waitress today was very kind and helpful. One thing to be aware of, though, if you are going for breakfast is to KNOW when they are and are not serving breakfast. We went there today with our mouths prepared for the usual, only to discover that breakfast doesn't start up again until May. So just give them a call before you go to be sure. If you want something DIFFERENT and out-of-the way, check this place out. The food is very good and the atmosphere and location are very cool. NOTE: For breakfast vegetarians have plenty of options, but for lunch, be prepared to order a baked potato (which was delicious) or something else from their sides. Every entree and even the salads all contain meat...

We found a new favourite brunch spot in Mildura — right by the river! Dockside Café offers warm indoor seating with heaters and a cozy outdoor area with a firepit 🔥. Perfect for chilly mornings! Here’s what we tried: 🥐 Eggs Benedict Croissant ($22) – You can choose ham, bacon, or salmon (+$6). We picked ham and bacon and LOVED it! The hollandaise sauce was rich and delicious 👌 🥑 Avocado Cup ($19.50) – Super fresh, and the beetroot sauce is such a nice twist 🍞 Eggs on Toast ($13.50) + sautéed mushrooms ($4.50) – Simple, but just okay 🍝 Beef Ragu ($24) – Looked nice but taste was average 🧊 Drinks: Iced Coffee & Iced Mocha ($7.50 each) – both were great! Iced Chocolate ($7.50) – just okay ✨ Generous portions, beautiful plating, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. This place is a must-visit in Mildura!

This place has become a bit of a regular haunt with a group of us meeting up after training sessions. Firstly the location is great out on the deck with plenty of sunshade umbrellas. The service is always friendly and usually pretty prompt although it can get busy. Most importantly the coffee is good and there's a good selection on the breakfast menu. Prices are average so the quality and presentation of the food makes it good value! Consistently good and the fire pit and heaters in the outside area make these crisp winter mornings almost delightful!
