Morisset Bakehouse — Restaurant in Morisset

Great quality locally made bread, good sandwiches and fresh meat pies.

Only trouble was I had a bad pie one day but didn't realise until I was eating it a few kms away. Meat was chewy and very hard to swallow.

I went to the trouble of going back there the next day to let the owner know and I was met with defiance - That they make good pies etc etc. It wasn't an angry conversation but I was brushed away.

I could have done nothing and just not bought another meat pie there.

I didn't have a receipt as evidence and don't eat there that often so they wouldn't know me but I think I would have handled it differently. Something like here, have a free one, on the house, or something like that.

I am sure this doesn't happen often and that they wouldn't need to be giving pies out left, right and centre but let's just say it left a bad taste...

We've been buying from the Bakehouse for years. I now live at Woongarrah, mum calls in every Tuesday and gets my order and now staff at the SIL house also get mum to order. Their pies are the best around, so are their sausage rolls. The sandwiches are inches high, their salad in a container is the absolute best. You want extra in your salad or sandwich it's not a problem. It's worth paying $2 for the plastic container. Staff are great. They've increased what they offer. Try their home made Christmas cake and pudding it's magnificent. Their cakes are great, there isn't a bad choice among them. Coffee flies out the door, though I've never brought one. You want the best and you're in the area try the Bakehouse. They do a massive trade amongst tradies, open very early. If there's a line, it's definitely worth...

Never again from today the 7th Jan 2025 on the 6th of Jan 2025 I ordered a hamburger bad choice the pattie did not look like meat it had chunks of tomatoes brown lettuce burnt onion 4 slices of beet root absolutely rubbish smofferd in b bq sauce .then today a b/ e roll I waited 15 minutes for & watched her put fresh bacon on the hot plate I said to myself this will be my 1st b/e roll made fresh & no I was wrong out of the stainless steel bay came the bacon most likely cooked at 5am with a dry egg smofferd in bbq sauce once again absolutely rubbish sorry guys im out .never serve anything you would not eat yourself.
