I know the photos don’t do the meal justice in one sense in another it show the meal was really good due to nothing left. I saw the food went oh my goodness I just wanted to eat it 😂😋 look so good. tasty even better 😋 meat plates for two. Beef brisket melted in my mouth so much flavour, the pork, tenter pull pork, the slaw was creamy and fresh, corn bread something different, nice to eat soft in texture and light seem freshly made, wings and kransky was good too. I had almost finished eating when the thought a photo to share showing how good it looked first up. One for the meat loves. This place has a lot going for it, friendly staff, good atmosphere and really good food I feel the Yard I will do really well. I have been here twice first time was very slow but I had gone with a large group so I excused the timeframe due to influx with our group. Second time my wife got takeaway as we are working up the road (150m away ish) I got the plate for 1 ……… I understand and am aware that this type of food doesn’t come cheap and I’m fine with that but……. The chips were what appeared to be over cooked or fried twice, the brisket was dry as and resembles jerky more than brisket and the pork hard large pieces of grissel/cartlidge. Don’t waist your time.. ordered 2x gin and sodas with a splash of orange juice .. the juice was rank so ruined the drink .. we returned them and said the juice is off (hubby had noted that when they were making them that it was the last bit in the bottle ) they refused to believe it was rank .. and refused us a refund. Just want to say to the guys that run THE YARD, even the owner, crazily not even helpful, considering it’s a new venue - The customer is always right 🤷🏼‍♀️ Anyhoo off to 8@trinity where they get customer...
