Honestly amazing. I remember being rudely shunted out of a Cafe in the valley in the 90s asking for a soy latte, and here we are, in our lords year of 2023 and there are now lovely places like Ai's. Serving up hot soy milky lattes early on a Sunday morning.
Let's talk about plants. Ai's is full of lovely plants, so many that when you are waiting for your coffee, if you were to greet all the plants, you would be able to wait for two separate orders to be made. That's a lot of plants.

My hubby is impressed as it reminds us of the typical Filipino cafe/restaurant with all the noise of happy diners, something that you can't experience genuinely in other restaurants. The beef steak + kare kare are amazing! Hubby loves the food!
This place feels very homey, hubby thinks this place is like a local community centre for Filipino wives away from their Aussie husbands complaining about our local Pinoy food (I know a lot of them).

Short open hours and must were mask when entering shop, only 3 people in shop when I was there, I think it might have been the limit for this small shop. Perfect location near Coles. Stocks Asian grocery that supermarkets don't sell as well as different brands of what they do sell. UPDATE: This shop has moved to bigger premises, 113 George Street, same street but next to Cash Converters on the opposite side...
